Well me and my dad are looking for a cell phone plan, We need 4 phones, and at least one of them needs txt messaging, not tons of text messages, even something like 40 of them would be enough. Although every company seems to want like 70-100 dollars per month on this, and thats 1700 dollars for the 2 year contract! 1700 dollars for some fricken cell phones? What the hell? I dont care about cameras and crap on the phones either, all they need to do is make phone calls. Anyone know someplace thats cheap? i already tried Cingular, T-Mobile, and Sprint.

is that the one that comes with blue shift? I want to use that stuff, but i cant get it to work with Steam, do i have to just install it like i do with a 3rd party mod? (the patch and blue shift)

yeah dont cheap out at all or you will regret it, i have like 100s of dollars of games i cant play now because i dont get to use my sweet computer anymore just this one.

well yeah but if its a game with lots of textures (which is pretty much every game nowadays) you get some stuttering when the new textures are loading up, and if you have more memory its less likely to happen because they can all fit in the first place.

the ATi Radeon 9800XT 256 looks good, its 320 bucks on newegg. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-119-130&depa=1 But would i be better off with a 256MB Radeon 9800XT or a 128MB ATi X800? This is confusing... and those GeForces didnt stop existing either....

yeah i was talking to my friend and he said a GeForceFX 5900 or a GeForce 6600 would probably run everything on high, but i cant seem to find a 6600 with 256MB of memory anywhere. thanks for the help ill look into those Radeons Also the Radeon 9800s where the best for awhile, has the price gone down on those alot by now? or is that not worth it anymore?

will this work with other cards? because with all the old PCs i have lying around this could be like ub3r lan party haha (theres a patch to get around the 4 players thing somwhere too) The graphics look half-life 1-ish

Random comments: There was a mod for UT that some students turned in and got in trouble for where you where in the world trade trying to escape. They where bitching about this game on the oldies radio station yesterday morning (haha i tuned in just to laugh)

pretty sweet, ive lived near both of them, i was born in New Jersey, and i live in Michigan now.

smaller discs dont skip, you know this if you have a minidisc player, ESPECIALLY if they are in that encasing like they are, then they pretty much never skip.

Okay well my other PC is pretty much crap right now and i need some upgrades so i can play lan games and stuff Basic Specs 2.4Ghz Processor 64MB Intel POS Video card (needs to go) 256MB DDR RAM (need more) I want to be able to play Doom 3, i dont need it to be on ultra super high, but this all the way low settings and getting 12FPS thing is crap, I also want to be able to play UT2k4, Half-life 2, Painkiller, etc. Max Payne 2 works maxed out getting like 30 FPS average so i guess its just an upgrade for that. I dont need any of these game to run on super ultra high, but at least medium would be nice. I think i should get at least 512MB of DDR RAM, but maybe more. Im not sure about the graphics card though, The mobo only supports AGP 4X and i dont have the money to upgrade a mobo right now, so im stuck with that. I was looking at some of the BFG tech cards, like the GeForceFX5950OC, but i cant really find anywhere that sells that card, my price range is probably anywhere from 200-400 but a cheaper card that still works well would be better so i could get more RAM i think. I should probably upgrade the processor but ill do that later, alot of games say 2.4 is really enough. So what do you think i should get?

OMG!! AND TO THINK THE ONLY THING KEEPING ME FROM PLAYING THESE IS A BROKEN AV CABLE!!! Seriously, i have 2 sega saturns, and all these sweet games, but no one sells an AV cable for a decent price anywhere!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!

i hope its alot of fun, i like super unrealisitic racers/rally racers like RalliSportChallenge 2 and Need For Speed Underground and stuff. I absolutly hate games like Project Gotham 2 and stuff its just horrible. I like alot of those futuristic racers too but the only example i can think of at the moment is Extreme G which isnt realy a very good one.

i dont think the GeForce 4 would run UT2k4 well, Or at least it doesnt on my friends PC, he has a 2.2GHz processor and that card and it runs kinda crappy, it really depends on the map your on. but yeah. Unreal 2003 runs great on it though (and is better in alot of ways i think)

I heard it was REALLY good but also REALLY short, but then when i went into work today i saw the guide and it was HUGE. Almost as big as the San Andreas one if not bigger.

I unlocked on at EB, The console itself doesnt have many options, the Pictochat is nice, but the drawing thing is VERY limited, you can fit like 2 words in unless you write small. Metroid was pretty nice looking, but every level is VERY VERY Dark. You cant see crap unless its right in front of you. The wireless works fine, no lag or anything, didnt really get to test the range. The top screen is much higher res than the bottom, so its nice that you can change which screen it uses for GBA, then again, i dont know what the advantage of using the bottom is, because they are both the same size and stuff. Altthough i didnt try any GBA games on it because i was too busy playing DS games. So far the games are pretty good. nothing ub3r impressive, but very nice nonetheless. Its only 150 bucks. But i dunno. I dont think ill buy one anytime soon, im too intriuged by that Taiko Drum Master game for PS2 for some reason.....

Oh god, Quake, Quake 2, Quake 3, Serious Sam (all of them), Painkiller (it should work), Hall-Life 1, Postal 2, Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield, Red Faction, Diablo 2 +EXP. Thats what i would get.
