  5. I got 17" LG monitor and 28" Toshiba Nicam running off a 128mb GeForce 3 Ti 200
  6. I use unbranded or whatever my local shop has, the unbranded discs are actually quite good, heres a list of the rest Silver Blue - The Data layer is on the top surface and peels by itself. TraxData - no probs. Intenso - great. Samsung - great. but by far the best are Datawrite or Bulkpaq - A couple of these got scratched but amazingly are still readable.
  7. I got 3 on the desktop and 83 in toolbars at the bottom - I also have my drives available on the right hand side so they appear as pop-up menus. The Icons are there because I used to use tool manager with docks on my Amiga and I guess im too damn lazy to use the start menu.
  8. Nero and cdrwin - when i first bought a cdrw I got a phillips model and the program that came with that was awful, anyone else get crap software with their drive?
  9. When you can just stand on those oversized feet and push! - hell no
  10. Ive used a Speccy Emu back in 94 on Amiga but on PC my first emu would be Mame or Genecyst, I have Mame 0.24 as my earliest version.
  11. Like I say, whats the oldest emu? I remember using a spectrum emu on Amiga way back in 94, I think it was ZXAm. Anyone know anything earlier?
  12. Jeesus Im used to seeing 4 or 5 new replies when I visit - I thought my computer was screwed!
  13. A few years ago a friend of mine was really into wrestling and he had some videos of American wrestling from the 70s. Some of it was obviousely fake but other parts was definately real. After seeing those I have to say that I seriousely think these days its all fake.
  14. looks like a lucasarts type of game but i have no idea
  15. Those are the best logos for an emu site Ive ever seen.
  16. I use Zone Alarm and havent had any problems. The amount of stuff it catches is amazing, and you can set it so individual programs either can, cant or have to request permission to access the net. 2 years ago I wasnt using a firewall - I wouldnt dream of not using one now.
  17. Widget is part of the skin, you can download skins here http://www.cmskins.com
  18. Use CDRWin to burn bin & cue files, Its available here http://www.goldenhawk.com/
  19. Okay while we're reminiscing, what's the best thing barring a complete system that youve ever purchased for your Computer or Console. For myself its my Sega Arcade Power Stick Bought for my Megadrive it was also compatible with my Amiga, with its metal base and pefect range of movement Ive never used anything better. Its now 10 years old and still looks like it just came out of the box. If only Sega would release a similar model for the PC.
  20. Im surprised to see EA in other peoples lists, in the past most people I know have not agreed with me. So is this because of recent releases or do you mostly like EA releases. Also Im interested to know how many people agree with EASports policy of updating games every year.
  21. Okay so we got top 10 games started but what about Programmers and Publishers. The focus is usually on individual games but Im curious to see who gets the votes in this category. Heres mine (in no particular order) 1. Team 17 - their games on the Amiga were brilliant, Alien Breed, Arcade Pool, Kingpin, Worms etc 2. EA - They get so much criticism but I think most of its unfair, I love their games especially FIFA Series NHL Series Desert Strike Series 3. Archer McLean - This guy is responsible for some outstanding games, my favs are IK+ and Jimmy Whites Snooker / Pool - the first time I played this game I spent 5 mins trying to flick the flies off the monitor - how dumb can you get! and my kids love the funny faces the balls make, it can relax you while you get irate at losing another frame to the computer. Special mention goes to Edgar M Vigdal for Deluxe Galaga and Pacman - both outstanding shareware titles
  22. Just to let the Americans (who hate Football) know, they might get their own take on the Championship Manager experience in the future. SI Games (the programmers) are working on a version based around Ice Hockey- at the moment called called Eastside Hockey Manager.
  23. 1. Championship Manager - Amiga/PC This game is responsible for more game play hours than the rest combined, so is definately my first pick - The rest are, Bubble Bobble Trilogy - Arcade (Parasol Stars - Amiga) Deluxe Galaga - Amiga Discs Of Tron - Arcade FIFA Series - Various (FIFA 99 - 3DFX PC) GTA Series - PC (Vice City) Streets Of Rage Series- Megadrive (SoR 2) Tempest 2000 - Jaguar Tetris - Gameboy Time Pilot - Arcade On the series picks my fave is in brackets.
