Personally I don't mind a few swear words but using them in excess can indicate immaturity. The owner wants this place to be seen by anyone without possibly offending their sensitive eyes. However I would like to see the filter switched off in the spam forum.

Looks like it's ok now. Thanks for the advice everyone. edit: When I posted this, the computer froze with svchost.exe again causing problems. This time I just rebooted to fix it for now. edit again: found i could not connect to work, this was because IE6 only had 56-bit encryption. Tried Firefox, it let me log in but then wanted to download a 123meg Java plugin. Er, no way! Then, found I had a service pack for this OS, put it in and i had 128-bit encryption in IE6, and could now connect to work with no problem. And without needing Java.

It's quite common to work in a number of places while you are young, it helps build experience in a number of jobs and situations. You really only want stay in a job if it's all you can get or you like working there.

It's easier to get an emulator that works better than mame ever will, such as bsnes.

Computer wouldn't talk with the others on the internal network. Then it wouldn't work on the internet either. So, onto Install Number 3, so far it works. No MSN but thats no great loss atm.

I use ClrMamePro when building sets for torrenting. For my own use, I wrote my own rom manager because the one set of roms has to work with every kind of arcade emulator, and clrmamepro cannot do that in one pass. As a bonus, I get a roms database which I can run queries on.

I said ssms.exe, not smss.exe!
