  1. That's just realism. Imagine you suddenly getting your clothes stripped off. You'd run as well =P
  2. 2001 is bad, no forum attack system changes that. =P
  3. Dunno. It's basically a pretty version of KOF2002, which I didn't consider to be all that bad (and anything's better than KOF 2001).
  4. Nice, I didn't know they were still making N64 games.
  5. I think everyone is a little of both =P
  6. I'm planning to get this game. If it's like the old ones, I'll probably love it.
  7. hmph, one would think by now there would be the possibility (hardware wise) to recreate a 2D fighting gameplay experience in a 3D environment? It worked for shmups.... Anyway, I find it a strange move that they're going to use the yearly name for MI2 in the US (and maybe Europe). I don't think MI1 was all that bad (especially not for the 10 euros I paid for it ). MI2 actually looks good in the previews.... The fact that the main series is different from the MI story just makes that KOF Another Day Anime all the more nonsense. Ah well.... The official site is available in both english and japanese, at this location: http://game.snkplaymore.co.jp/official/kof-mi2/ In addition, several secret characters were revealed: http://plusd.itmedia.co.jp/games/articles/...28/news075.html Opening video: http://rapidshare.de/files/14714666/KOFMI2_Opening.asf.html Character introduction video: http://rapidshare.de/files/14713640/KOFMI2.asf.html
  8. oh. like...tomorrow! seriously; they don't use the old neogeohardware anymore, but atomiswave. Now, in theory, I think it would be possible to emulate (similar to dreamcast hw, which is emulated), but I don't expect it anytime soon. I bet ports to xbox/ps2 will be out sooner. So to speak, the old days where the neogeo releases would leak over the web in no-time, are over. If that's good or bad, depends on your perspective is metal slug 6 out, btw? I didn't quite keep track of that release.
  9. zero gunner 2 is nice as well (and hey, it works on chankast). I'd look a little beyond chankast though; there are a lot of these kind of games for (for example) ps1 too... a little older, but they're better emulated
  10. if you like gimmicky odd weirdass japanese games, the DS has an advantage....and it's cheaper. actually, they both have their ups and downs. I have a DS; it makes for a nice difference when one already has a ps2; and of course, the homebrew is nice, but so is it on psp.
  11. don't know. maybe went up a few... oooooh, over 100 posts!
  12. I'm not clickin' It's that big freakin' thing I saw on insertcredit the other day, isn't it?
  13. nice and clean look.... very special news about nevermore
  14. Yes, I think this is great for both 1emu and the DS homebrew community
  15. congrats 1emu and staff, and everyone else here really
  16. swapmagic is the cheapest, not the best. works for me though! a little more detailed: swapmagic requires a slidecard for the old ps2, or a fliptop-cover or 2 tiny pieces of plastic for your slimline ps2. I have the slimline ps2, and went for the two tiny pieces of plastic. Some reported it to not work, but it works for me. With swapmagic though, as the name implies, you need to swap discs everytime you boot a game. secondly, the ps2 is very picky on dvd-r brands. I'm told that with a modchip, compatibility with various dvd-r brands is much higher. Of course, imports work as well.
  17. hm Yeah, he's a heavyweight in the company nowadays....
  18. hm, pcsx2 is still progressing... Your aim is that when you get a new PC, it will be able to run games in pcsx2 quite nicely (speed-wise)? (or is your current pc pretty fast?)
  19. hm, I just got the first MI because it went really down in price here....
