  1. Yeah, there aren't very many decent 3D fighting games out, much less for the Xbox IMO. I wonder how the Mortal Kombat games will work with such a controller. Hopefully similar to the arcade since they still have the same controls as the last incarnation.
  2. Well, that sucks. I heard that they had pretty bad sales last year, so it's not too terribly surprising. Arcades are pretty much dying out anymore since home consoles now offer the same power as arcades. Around, arcades have been dead or dying long before that, though. Any arcades left will probably take a turn for the worse. I hope Sammy publishes the Capcom game(s) they have the rights to, especially Sammy vs. Capcom.
  3. I'd like to know how they work out. I wonder how well they work with 3D fighting games. If they're good, I might get one for the PS2 (I don't have an Xbox yet).
  4. The layout looks good, but the actual controller is kinda bland. That'd probably be good for a supergun if you could switch between controller styles. It'd probably be great for fighters, such as MvC2 and SvC2:EO.
  5. Dang, the price is low and they don't even have an asking price or whatever that you need to reach before they sell it. They should've put the starting price higher, IMO. Well, at least they have about six days left. It'll probably reach, at the most, $100 something (possible around $200) and at the least, $50 something (USD, mind you). Don't you mean an AES with a MVS converter (i.e. Phantom-1)? I doubt you'd find a supergun and an AES in the same auction (possible, but not probable).
  6. The biggest problem for NG CD is fighting games. Other games load times aren't as bad. If I could, I'd grab CDZ system and have it modified to switch between English and Japanese (if possible). I know it's possible for the regular NG CD. CDZ helps alleviate some of the load problems (supposedly ~2x faster because of cache), but it's been know to break down easily (or at least I've heard).
  7. It works fine in Nebula and should work in Kawaks. Here's the dat: System: NEO RomName: ghostlop Game: Ghostlop [Program] gl-p1.rom,0,100000,6033172e,0 [Text] gl-s1.rom,0,20000,83c24e81,0 [Z80] gl-m1.rom,0,20000,fd833b33,0 [samples] gl-v1.rom,0,200000,c603fce6,0 [Graphics] gl-c1.rom,0,400000,bfc99efe,0 gl-c2.rom,1,400000,69788082,0 [system] CartridgeID: 228 GfxCrypt: 0 GfxKey: 0 ButLayout: 9 Fix: 0
  8. If only I had a real website. I only have Geoshyties site I use for temporary file hosting. Even then, I only did it once. I'll definitely share it on eDonkey, Gnutella (1 & 2), and maybe (doubtful) FastTrack. Apparently the c roms aren't encrypted if they work with NeoRageX XP. I'll post a dat for Nebula/Kawaks loader if someone doesn't do it before me.
  9. I've never seen Scream. I would like to have seen the first one as it's probably the best of the series, but it's a steep decline from there. I thought the extras on the House DVD were pretty funny/weird. I think that movie needs to be remade because I feel it could be made so much better. It also needs more victims and some sort of in movie connection between the Fireflys and the Captain. Too bad the old guy died. On the DVD, you get to hear the joke he tells at the "Halloween party" (or whatever it was) in full and it's pretty funny if not disgusting too.
  10. If the rom is out, it's probably only an alpha or (possibly) a beta, since the game hasn't even been released commercially yet. It could also be a preview demo for magazines. This is all assuming the site wasn't just posting news about a new GBA game in the works. Can't wait for this to come Stateside. I haven't even finished Zero 2 yet and I'm already hyped about 3.
  11. Sweet, where and when? I must've missed this one. What emulators can play it, so far (if any)? More info please.
  12. It's the developer. I don't think he's really much into Dreamcast development anymore. I wish someone would make a zSNES port. Since zSNES is open source, that would allow much faster development of the Dreamcast version. SNES9x is also open source, but I don't think it has GPL (or similar) license like zSNES (I could be mistaken on that point). I'm pretty sure SNES9x doesn't, otherwise Marcus would probably would have released the source to DreamSNES.
  13. There hasn't been a release AFAIK. I remeber rumors of the rom's release months ago, but so far nothing's surfaced. Kinda disappointing, but I doubt the game is much different from Puzzle Bobble (unless the screenshots have mislead me).
  14. In the EGCG version, it can detect p rom hacks (usually boss hacks, but not all are). In fact, the version I have lists many of the hacks which it supports. I was wanting to see if it listed new hacks (for other roms) and KoF 2k3 Plus. It probably supports KoF 2k3, but you need either the original MAME set or the version hacked for NeoRageX (unless the listing was a false one).
  15. Those managers work with NeoRageX, just go to Logiqx's site and grab the dats for the old emulators. There should be a dat for the last official release. In fact, there are tons of dats for those rom managers, including Good set dats. I'm just looking to see what CRCs it expects for the hack roms (if it's from 4.4).
  16. If only I had all the money in the world. Then there'd be no more wasted games and all gamers could experience the joy of the Dreamcast. Alas, the world isn't perfect and most gamer's are stupid lambs led to the slaughter by Sony (not that I don't like the Playstation 2).
  17. Check out Sbiffy for the Selfboot Inducer. It allows you to put multiple home brew ports, games, emulators, apps, and demos on one CD. It will even make the image for you. You just have to put the roms in the correct directories before you make the image, which isn't too hard because it goes step by step. This allows you to do whatever (like add roms or game files) before the selfboot image is made.
  18. Has Marcus (author of DreamSNES) even updated it this year or last? I stopped checked along time ago. The only other SNES emulators I know of ended up DOA pretty much. Sintendo had a little development on it, but then the author kinda dropped the project off the face of the Earth. Ngine-Snes9x died quickly too. After all the author's talking about his whole ngine project and even a Genesis emulator, he ended up switching to GBA dev. Are there any other SNES emulators (or attempts) out there?
  19. Heh, I'd love to hear that! I don't think he really wants to get much press about this. I wonder if he actually has his site back up or if the hacker still has a backdoor (the beware picture I mentioned leaves me suspicious).
  20. In Night of the Living Dead, the zombies came to life because of a meteorite. Return of the Living Dead (completely different series) had zombies created by chemicals. K'dash, you liked House of 1000 Corpses? That movie blew big time, IMO. I was so disappointed when I saw it. The movie had no real plot and many of the scenes didn't really connect well. There were parts that didn't really need be there either, IMO. Like I said in an earlier post, I thought that movie borrowed too much from other horror series such as TCM and Hellraiser.
  21. NeoRAGERx, could you post the RomCenter (or ClrMamePro if you have it) dat? The version I got didn't come with a dat. Is this for version 4.2 or 4.4, BTW?
  22. I was just wondering about this new version that supposedly had KoF 2k3 in the list with Zintrick. I just was wondering if this new version integrated the latest hacks for KoF 2k3 with the last EGCG release.
  23. Killer Klowns from Outer Space scared me as a kid, but when I think about it now, it's funny. I liked 28 Days Later, especially how it was filmed. I'm not sure exactly what it was about the filming, I just know I liked its effect. I thought the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake was good. I was disappointed with a House of a 1000 Corpses, though, which seems to take a lot from different horror movies. I thought Rob Zombie was going to make a good movie, but it turned out crap IMO.
  24. Well, I kinda wondered. I was just saying because I wouldn't think you'd want to go to jail over something like this.
  25. Does GameFAQ have a listing of the game? If it does and doesn't have a FAQ section, then I'm sorry to say, but you're probably SOL. If you couldn't find the game, then maybe you have the spelling wrong or something (just a guess, I don't really know).
