  1. I think that games don't need a story to be fun, but stories (If they are good) usually amplify the fun, and are sometimes needed (RPGs would suck without a story). A good story is the reason that Final Fnatasy 3/6 is my favorite game. But as long as the game has fun enough gameplay, then a story really isn't needed.
  2. I only post if I have something to say. And lately, I haven't had much to say.
  3. I, personally, don't care about internet connection because I, unfortionately, only have a 56k dial-up connection. Anyways, you really can't say that the Nintendo Revolution is already beat when you hardly know ANYTHING about it. Wait until it comes out and then actually play it. THEN you can complain about it.
  4. Nintendo themselves have said that nothing on it will eb that revolutionary. They haven't generated any hype, the fans who don't listen did.
  5. Actually, the DS and the PSP are about even when it comes to sales. And any arguments this dude has about the Revolution is pretty much moot, as no one knows what makes the system up. It's all presumptions and guesses. And I find it amazing that he taunts Nintendo for being innovative. When DS came out, I didn't like the idea at all. But hell, at least they're trying to make something different. Nintendo knows that we have to have something new to keep it interesting. The reason that Sony and Microsoft don't understand that is because thye are both still new to the game and haven't been making games for long. All-in-all, I'm rooting for Nintendo to win this round of console wars. Why? Because they make quality products. You get what you pay for. Now we can only hope that third-party developers realize that and stop hopping the bandwagon to Sony. It'll be especially easier now that Nintendo's going to DVD's.
  6. You don't even know anything about the Revolution and you call it crap? Really, Nintendo's hardware has been really good, and it's durability is top-notch. The only problem is that third-party developers prefer the PS2 and X-Box, and so those systems tend to get more good games. If Nintendo manages to get third-party developers on their side again, then they will be at the top again.
  7. *sigh* It's on the front page. http://www.1emulation.com/odown/
  8. It would be so deliciously awesome if it was real, but I really don't see anyone emulating CPS3 boards in the near future.
  9. I won't be listening to it live, because listening to streaming radio on a 56k is like flocking a broken light bulb while still on. I'll download it afterwords, though.
  10. Well, I suppose that's alright then. I just can't stand it when the "emulation elite" share all these wonderful things with only themselves. I mean, yeah, they deserve extra for helping develop the scene, but when you're someone like me who doesn't know anything that would help then, it's sort of like a punishment. Ya know? Ah well. So, this emulator runs Goldeneye. What about any other commercial roms? I tried out Metriod demo, Yoshi's Touch and Go, and Warioware Twisted and none of those worked.
  11. Read between the lines? What the heck are you talking about? You simply, and clearly, stated that the site will only be shared with those in the DS scene (IE: The emulation elite). But whatever. I'm not gonna try to drive this topic off it's course any more then I already did.
  12. Neat. I hope to travel outside of my country someday. It sounds like it'd be fun.
  13. Ugh. Another example of emulation elitism. I can't stand that crap and it always happens. Anyways, interesting find. I'm sure this will help other emu authors in developing a fully funtional NDS emulator.
  14. http://ggxlol.highervoltage.net/ Great collection of sprites from Guilty Gear X. http://www.cartoonpassion.com/guiltygearx1.html You can buy a Guilty Gear X artbook here http://www.gamecritics.com/feature/artgall...arx2/page01.php Some Guilty Gear X2 artwork
  15. It's not that he doesn't like teenagers. It's that he doesn't like stupid people. And teenagers are usually stupid people.
  16. There is no such thing as freedom in this world, but at least we're trying. But god damn, we were doing jsut fine before the Supreme Court started to take a dump on the pirating industry. The reason I pirate software is because I simply cannot afford to pay for the crap I download. If I could pay for it, I would. So really, they aren't losing money from me because I was never a potential customer. So just let me have my fun and stop interfering with my life.
  17. Yeah, I've known about these beauties for about a year now. They're pretty much one of the funniest comics ever.
  18. Valkyrie Profile? Good game. I never really liked SC2 that much... It's gameplay was really uninteresting to me. But this character creation idea is certainly moving int he right direction. I'll be interested to at least try it out now.
  19. All I know is that the rom link section was removed to become part of the pack. So if we aren't part of the pack yet, then we got rid of a perfectly fine section for nothing.
  20. This man is right. I'm telling you. Go to a nutritionist. It costs money, but isn't it worth it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I got better things to do <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Browsing and posting on this forum is more important then bettering your health? Whatever dude.
  21. Ragnarok - My Hate is His Spirit Fantastic band playing this fantastic song which has fantastic melodies and a fantastic bass solo.
  22. I got to play the demo at a friend's house. I really enjoyed what I played, though the 10 minute time-limit was aggrivating. Looks like I'm gonna have to actually buy this game.
