I had the chance to go tonight at midnight, but I turned it down, as I have to speak in front of my class tomorrow for my project, and if I don't do well, I don't graduate. So I had to decide; Star Wars or Graduation. A tough choice indeed.

This is true. After all the PS2 was sopposed to be the worst console of the three, but it managed to get the best games to be made on it, thus launching the PS2 into the top slot of console sales.

I'm waiting until the Revolution struts it's stuff. So far I've been thuroughly unimpressed by either Sony or Microsoft.

That's the thing, some people are saying just backwards compatible and others are saying for top selling games. We'll just have to wait and see. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm farily sure it's only certain games. I've heard that from somewhere else as well. Quote from another forum: "Xbox 360 officially will be backward compatible with the prior system's top-selling games, said Microsoft's Vice President Peter Moore. Microsoft will pick and choose only the most popular Xbox titles from its huge backlist of games and will most likely use emulator software for those limited titles."

Actually, the reason the GTA games were released so late on the X-Box was because Rockstar signed a deal with Sony that GTA would be only released on PS2 for an entire year. So yeah, they aren't dumb enough to only release it on one system, but they are willing to make it so by the time it's released for another system, everyone already has it for the PS2.

I wouldn't think about it too hard. Japan's jsut completely and totally bonkers.

The projection crap is just that; crap. The Rev would cost over a thousand dollars if it wanted 3D projection. I don't like how just because it's called the Revolution it'll change the very way we play games. Nintendo themselves has said that it won't be all that shocking and different.

So is that list 100% confirmed? Sorry if this has been answered before.
