I'll be getting into N64 emulation at some point, is that the version that you need to be a contributor to get then?

I've looked over at the Mugen Fighters Guild and some other places, it seems that people do not like 1.0 RC. There are projects still being worked on, and full games being released, but they're still using the older Winmugen, or Winmugen Plus. There are a few HD things being made for the 1.0 RC, but overall I think the problem is that no one can be bothered to convert the thousands of characters and stages etc, to the new 1.0 RC standard.

Well out of a full set that's not too many. Either your set was slightly newer than the one FBL uses, or slightly older. It can be hard tracking down slightly older individual roms after MAME has been updated, coz most romsites only keep the newest files up. Maybe someone with a fully green FBL romset will PM you and point you in the right direction. That won't be me though I'm affraid, I don't actually have a MAME set at the moment. I need to grab a 0.137 super set torrent at some point.

XBMC is notoriously slow for FTP transfers. I find good old Evox the fastest. Likely because it's not using any memory for fancy skins and animations.

Ah so it was external, oh dear. Was it a high desk? One knock and it explodes? They don't make them very tough.

I've never had a hard drive fail, but I have a USB drive plugged in at all times for backup. Every time I download something new I copy it over to the backup drive just in case the worst happens.

I'm short sighted, but my optician says it's not coz of that, it's something to do with the axis of my eye. It doesn't matter if I wear my glasses with the 3D glasses on top or just the 3D glasses, nothing jumps out of the screen at me. I used to be able to see 3D, when I was about 5yrs old I saw the 3D Michael Jackson film at Disney Land Paris, the 3D effects were really good in that, and that was nearly 20 years ago. My eyesight was perfect then of course.

Why do other people get given stuff? I never get given anything.

I hate all this 3D stuff coming out now. I can't see in 3D coz of the way my eyes are. I just see the fuzzy yellow/blue outline around the image.

Certain games will show yellow, which means that the game's romset has the files needed, but there's something wrong, like the name of the zip file, or there are uneeded files in the zip, it will tell you what the problem is. If you right click and select repair, it will make the needed changes, and then show green. If a game shows red, it means one or more files is missing from the zip. In that case, you need to find another romset for the game in question. I don't think you'll come accross too many reds, if any.

If you have a full MAME set, and you use the FBL dat, romcenter will show all the roms it can't use as grey, for unknown game. Highlight all of those and right click them, then under shell operations, either send them to a different folder or delete them. Then you'll be left with just the roms that FBL can use.

You have to eat chocolate eggs at Easter though. It's the law. Creme Eggs are my favourite. I bite the top off them like a soft boiled egg, and eat the inside. Then eat the shell in one. That's how I eat mine. Now that Kraft have taken over Cadbury I hope that they don't stop making certain brands, or change them so they cost less to produce and suck as a result. They've already shut down factories in the UK, causing thousands of job losses.

Does this use the same engine as STALKER? I can't run STALKER on my PC coz the sound is broken. For whatever reason the STALKER engine doesn't like X-Fi sound cards.

Clearly I've rocked your boat. I do appologise. But I hardly call one PM to Agozer complaining loudly. A PM that was not aimed at you and to my knowlege had zero consequense. I wasn't even aware until now that it was you who moved all those posts around a while back. I'd be happy to stop posting in the Xbox section entirely, if it weren't for every few days I read 'Blame Iceman for this' 'Iceman is a dick' and other such bullshit aimed directly at me and other members who dare to have an opinion. Imagine if everyday Agozer said to Emsley 'You're a piece of shit, and I'd quite enjoy it if you died' Would Ems just sit quietly and accept it 'Yes, I am a piece of shit, and it's ok for you to say so coz you're staff.' No, he'd probably respond, and probably get annoyed with it after a while. So I'm sorry for complaining, and I certainly don't think it's worth leaving over.
