  1. Wait, these will be in ".XMV" format...? and not .wmv... This means, you wont be release them publicly, if this is the case.
  2. In that case, yes, this is very true. everyone will always have their own opinions and preferences. (and should) And, like I said, if they want both... they can always name their sets to match the Xtras.
  3. This should be very easy for someone to do, I would do it but, I feel it would be redundant to my efforts I already have done ...haha but, it should be fine for those who want to release it. for sure. I hope someone does.
  4. Alright. I have to admit... I don't follow you completely with all the dilemmas, But, As far as your emu goes, I don't know what else to say except; I hope one day, I can tinker with it and a "full set"
  5. Cool, As far as mame goes, I was hoping to just get some of those (bloat as you call them) games and have a dive at them some time, (if I ever get to.) I know that there are quite a few Japan games (I played long ago) that I don't even know the names to, that I would like to find. (among others like that.) Some videos like cbagys Genesis packs I believe are 640 x 480, (they aren't integrated on the Rxtras front page yet) Most others are 320 x 240 (or around that relative to there native resolutions).
  6. Sounds good BP, I am rooting for more mame. If it's console Xtras you are after... you are as free as anyone to pick them up right here, in their separated packs. EDIT: oh and... you know that they will not all be found at emu-movies, anyway. Some of these vids are still being re-worked as I have made many of them personally (among other Rxtras Team members).
  7. I don't really see the argument here... Anyone can just take their sets and simply rename them to the Xtras... or they can rename the Xtras to their sets... If they have such a preference. (I don't know who out there(?) that is so picky about having all the dumps (or multiple good ones) and "doesn't" appreciate "Xtras") It will "still" be more convenient than doing all of this yourself. I know for myself, prior to the Xtras and helping with them, I did a crap load of renaming and artwork matching all by myself (for myself). (forget that... ) I am sure many others out there tried the same thing. Now, no one ever has to! It's done! and, their most complete and efficient way/sets, to date (by far!)
  8. How old is your son...? Depending on his computer savvy, He can come back here and learn a lot more awesome things he can do with his Xbox1, than can be done on a 360.
  9. This may just be the latest build with the new "surreal.ini"
  10. Well, My dats are build off of the latest "goodsets" and will rename in "romcenter" in compliance with the Ressurection Xtras.
  11. Gotcha BP That official history.dat is pretty crazy... I'll get working on these and let you know when I have made sufficient amounts.
  12. I plan on cleaning up the format and maybe arranging them differently as far as what info comes first and such. Sorry BP... "help file" maybe my mind is going blank... what help file are you talking about? Some way to test them along the way would be nice.
  13. Awesome! Yeah this is what I was talking about previously. If you found a way to implement it without clutter, than that is great I can make some as samples and give them to you. Any other format preferences can be worked out after that... EDIT: here is a sample of a game info I just did. (txt document) Is there any special word wrap preparations or anything like that I need to do? Or any other modifications? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time Manufacturer: Konami Year: 1991 Class: Wide Release Genre: Scrolling Fighter Type: Videogame Monitor: * Orientation: Horizontal * Type: Raster: Standard Resolution * CRT: Color Conversion Class: JAMMA+ Number of Simultaneous Players: 4 Maximum number of Players: 4 Gameplay: Joint Control Panel Layout: Multiple Player Controls: * Joystick: 8-way * Buttons: 2 [Attack|Jump] Sound: Amplified Stereo (two channel) Description Control one of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as you battle through different time periods (prehistoric to the future) in this horizontal scrolling fighting game. The cool "3-D" effect as you throw enemies at the screen and the funny speech ("Ooh, forgot the sunscreen!") make this game memorable. Trivia The pizza-munching turtles originally appeared in a black and white comic book that debuted in 1984. They were so popular that they immediately spawned imitators with colorful names such as "Armor-Plated Adolescent Aardvarks!" and "Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters". A cartoon series based upon the Turtles' adventures debuted in the United States on the CBS television network in 1987. The first names of turtles -- Michaelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo, and Donatello -- are the names of Italian Renaissance artists who lived between 1386 and 1564. Three of those artists had full names which were respectively Michaelangelo Buonariti, Raphael Sanzio and Leonardo Da Vinci, but as for Donatello, that was his only name. 14. Cool As far as re doing videos... I am a good man for that. Game info? what info would that entail? (just name, year, manufacture, and such... or full synopsis style work...?)
  15. Sorry, I only have a few hundred or so random Mame videos... (nothing I ever plan to use... especially with "showcase" put together. ) Why do you ask BP...? Better source videos... I could definitely do some down the road. I haven't even gotten the pleasure to see all of showcase in action yet, If there was a list or request for some videos to be remade, I could help out for sure.
  16. Thanks for clearing up R3, BP. I was just going to keep it separate from R2, until I could test some things. Now we all know what to do.
  17. If that was the case...I already have some raw videos... I definitely can imagine a lot of work put in all through "showcase". I am with ya BP I want it for "everything" it has to offer.
  18. Cool, Good to know... Thanks Robert Up to 83% now. (yes, no one probably cares but,) Thanks to everyone for helping and sharing
  19. Fu, Can you please send me the link...? I though I had it once, but it was a broken link... Thanks man
  20. My... what the topic has become... If you notice there are several concepts/topics going on... And I think it's great... I don't mind as long as the mods don't... (in my own thread at least) I like this kinda of: relative, yet "off" discussion, what are we all suppose to do...? meet each other on the spam forums...? I'm with Rx, the rockets wouldn't have a perfect spiral. so yeah... I am 80% now on "Showcase" whoo hoo!
  21. An update like that on a new "showcase" would be amazing! Thanks for the info and everything BP
  22. My thoughts... are.... that you should get your: high jacking ego maniacal crap out of my thread... ...I'm TOTALLY KIDDING... I think you bought your way into heaven... God just couldn't turn you down after the Xtras were put together. I am referring to Showcase R2 I believe there is only R2 and an update R3 available so far... I am getting it, but unfortunately... publicly, and there are many selfish people that wont give up any upload power They well leech but they wont give any back...! I can see it on the damn peer list...
  23. Is it OK for me to ask this...? I see people that keep getting it and it has taken me forever. People will grab this and just take off. There is only usually 2 seeds available. I have given more than I have received (so far) on this one... So I ask, those of you who have it... can you please keep it seeding...? Thank You
