I'm an enormous Armored Core fan from way back... currently the most attractive thing (maybe the only thing) about the new generation is getting my hands on AC4. But still the poor reviews are discouraging... Are the controls any less intuitive than the older games? Im just curious because they were always a bit on the hard side but I think Ive got a handle on the old scheme now. Unfortunately I've not played a lot of Armored Core games in the past besides the original one which I don't remember the control scheme of at the moment. I've been playing the 360 version and the controls for the most part aren't that difficult once you get used to them. Left and Right triggers are used for boost and quick boost respectively and the bumpers are for switching weapons. A, B, and X are used to fire weapons which means that you will have little control over the camera while firing.

Great review as always. Having always enjoyed the C&C series this one seemed to go back to its roots combined with other elements from previous titles. Unfortunately I am forced to buy the 360 version and will have to wait and see how that version turns out.

CYNE - First Person

Wii: I have yet to actually spend some quality time with one, but it would be the second console I would buy in this generation. If only more games would take advantage of the wiimote and it's capabilities, and the presence of more third party developers, would make the Wii something that would appeal to everyone a little bit more. Xbox 360: I may be biased due to the fact that I own one, but I am pleased at how it has progressed since it's debut. The games seem to appeal to almost everyone and the upcoming games are being waited with high expectations. The Xbox Live service is great and I wish that the Wii and PS3 would have similar online services. PS3: Although not as successful as it's suppose to be at the moment, I still have expectations that it will be successful. Existing games have not been great as they would have seemed and the loss of previous exclusives doesn't help out much either. Still I'm waiting for more good games to come out for the system that would help give it a little boost.

Armored Core 4 Pretty fun, fast gameplay and good effects, however the controls take some getting used to.

Glad to see everything up and running again.

Really cool, hope to play this once my friend gets it.

Guilty Gear XX: The Midnight Carnival

The only reason I see of buying this is the extended space of the 120 gig hdd. Even so saved games don't take up that much space in the first place unless you have saved movies, tv shows, and demos etc.
