I own all of the consoles for this gen and this is what I recommend:- Xbox - For emulation and media centre purposes (most of the games suck..but there are some great games) PS2 - Great range of games, which covers all bases. Has some crappy games but also has great games (much like the xbox) GC:- Great wholesome multiplayer fun. I play my GC the most out of all the consoles DC:- Greatest console ever!!!!!

Why are you hating Sony when MS advertises the xbox hardcore as well.... Anyways, the kids nowadays don't appreciate gameplay...they prefer blood, guts and sex... Super Mario Bros. doesn't have the greatest graphics but damn it is an awesome game to play...

If you guys see the amount sale figures of the N64 and PS you will see that the N64 was outselling the PS but as soon as SquareSoft announced FF7 on PS, everyone started to buy PS's, but overall the N64 was not a failure....

ah the NES...it was an awesome system but annoying when it refused to work... I used to blow out the carts and if that didn't work give it a slight slap to the top of the console ....and it still works....

I finally upgraded to a 1.5mb ADSL connection ....now I can download movies etc 3 times as fast as my previous 512kbps ADSL connection...
