    “Scholar. Rogue. Fearless daughter and sister. Fury of her Storm. This is the beginning of her lady's journey!”

    Note: This contains the elven language! Elven translation notes at the bottom.

    In a small village just a few miles out of Taer Valaestas. Is an elven woman, in the process of giving birth to her first and only child. Her husband, a human, hold's her hand tightly as the wives maids assist the woman into giving birth. Her long tenure of labor is over and she gives birth to a beautiful half-elven baby. She name's her child Arilia. After the woman's older sister who recently passed away. Coincidentally, she is born on the 12th of Zarantyr, right during the middle of a mild winter across Valenar on the same date of woman's sister was born.

    Arilia, now 4 years old was playing out front with the other children until a woman with two guards are seen walking into the small village.

    “Mama!” she cried out, running towards her elfish mother. “There's someone scary here!”
    “Little one, my name is Esrasvash. I am by no means scary!”
    Little Arilia buries her face in her mother's bosom.
    “I'm sorry about losing Arilia.”
    “But I'm right here” the little girl pops her head out.
    “It seems you haven't told her yet Elanor Minyatur.”

    Elanor leads Lady Esravash to her small hamlet of a home.

    “What brings you to this little place like this milady.”
    “No need for formalities Elanor. I'm inviting you back into the house. With your husband and child. Those or sharas don't know a thing about respect to our elders. Besides, we're moraes after all. It's my duty to have your back.”
    “While I'm happy you still remember our promise but... Eiraes eir si mor Ai syl thys si aelaes.”
    “Well what a better way to stick it to them then with your daughter as the next heir?”
    “What are you saying?”
    “There is no doubt, that child will gain the storm. And it will flourish into a great dragonmark that will be enough to succeed me in. If she is anything like Arilia, she'll make be a wonderful leader.”
    “Like Arilia...”
    “I need to know in a few days, I'm only here on business for the house. I would really love it if you came. I would also personally supervise her. I hope one day I can call her my moraes also.”

    Lady Esravash leaves her home while running into her husband.

    “Oh, mor baesia calysti Ai mi. The exact same since I saw you two leave that day. Shai byrn.” She says walking out the door.

    “Was that?”
    “She wants us to come back.”
    “Will I get my job back after I seduced a beautiful elven woman to be my partner?”
    “We'll see. We'll see...”

    Suddenly the day had come. A beautiful spring afternoon, Lady Esravash and her entourage arrives. They were all prepared. With their baggage in hand. They boarded her carriage and headed back towards the capital of Velanar.

    “Arilia, this is Lady Esravash. She's an old friend of mommy's.”
    “It is nice to meet you Lady Esravash” saying as she bows in respect.
    “You can call me 'seler`' instead” Esravash says with a friendly smile.

    “The journey will last several days to Stormhome, but will manage. Best of the Windwrights guild is here to transport us.”

    During the trip, the young Arilia has seen a very vast and beautiful world. The gorgeous sands of the Blade Desert, the lake of Cyre, the joyful view of Talenta Plains, the vast fields of Thrane and the lush forests of Aundair. After several days, they arrive at their destination, the island Stormhome.

    They are given a home with a beautiful view that oversees the coast of Eldeen Bay. As they arrive and unpack their things, Lady Esravash arrives to tell them about her future education. Her automatic entry into one of Aundair's prestigious schools to hone her knowledge and to properly raise her as a diplomat as the heir to the House of Lyrandar. Without any notice from anyone, the young half-elf revealed that a Least Dragonmark of The Storm had already manifested itself on her lower back. Frightened and scared. Lady Esravash held her in her arms and calmed her down.

    “You are now my heir. Have fun and be merry, for you'll be the greatest half-elf to ever head the House of Lyrandar. From now on, I'll be your seler`. You'll be very special to me! So let's have fun with your dargonmark ok?”

    The young Arilia nodded her head and hugged Esravash.

    “We'll have a lot of fun seler`!”

    She says smiling to her new sister

    Wizard Blog: Starting to write up an adventure on my D&D character in the world of Eberron. I'm hoping to cover her childhood up until just the start of my Eberron Campaign. Feedback welcome. Also here is some of the elven used.

    *moraes: sisters
    *or sharas: old bastards
    *Eiraes eir si mor Ai Syl thys si aelaes: After all the crap I took from the elders.
    *“Oh, mor baesia calysti Ai mi. ... Shai byrn.”: Oh, still very handsome I see. ... Bye now.
    *seler`: another way of saying sister

    So yeah. Posting random characters from First General (current title I've been using for this project, also it expands as well with # General). Expect one every few days. Bio includes full name, age, sex, date of birth and locations, their Arcane Power and a small summer of what it does, personality, backstory, moves and physical description. Perhaps you can catch a trend I tend to do after reading a few mangas.

    But, to start it off. Concepts of the engine, perhaps the screen and selection screen as well.

    System Direction
    I used winkawaks' picture thingy. (going to be uploaded)

    8 Way Stick + A B C D E buttons

    A = LP
    B = HP
    C = LK
    D = HK
    E = FORCE

    Dash Back/Dodge (Character depending) | ←,←
    Super Jump Cancel | ↑,↓,↑
    Parry | Tap →
    Block | Hold ←
    FORCE | Press E
    FORCE BREAK | E+B
    Universal Launcher | C+D
    Throw | A+B, A+B+→ or ←
    Throw Tech | A+B

    Everyone takes damage at different rates, but all have the same amount of stamina (10,000).
    Everyone takes stun differently.
    Everyone's gaurd crush is different.
    Everyone has a 2 to 4 Arcane Stock (A seperate bar, looking similar too AURA Gauge in Hokuto no Ken)
    Everyone has 2 Stocks for SUPER/PERFECT/PERFECT+ Arts. Normals, wiffs and moves that connect build up meter.

    Parrying is ripped right off from Street Fighter III. But is more akin too MOTW's Just Defend for timing, does NOT recover health.

    Normals = Command Normals, like →+A for example.
    Arts = Run of the mill speical moves.
    Super = Similar to EX moves (from SF3) or ES moves (from Vampire), uses part of the power bar
    Perfect = Uses 1 whole power bar. Similar to "Super Arts" or "Desperation Moves."
    Perfect+ = Some PERFECT ARTs can do more damage, but are harder to connect. (Ex: Oro being able to EX his Supers in SFIII or similar to Melty Blood with the C-button attacks)

    Screen knock back is SUPER ART & PERFECT ART determined. Gravity system forces characters to get pushed back every hit for no one getting corner trapped.

    FORCE button is something very similar too the "Homing" Button found in Arcana Heart. It is used to cancel out of normals or moves not normally allowed to be canceled into and requires 1 Arcane stock. The Arcana Stock refills after each round and can be used as a breaker into canceling a high damaging chain into a Perfect+. Which would be impossible without the use of the FORCE Button. There are limits however, it cannot cancel Perfect or Perfect+ moves and it cannot be used in succession with each other in one chain(LP -HP-LK-FORCE-LK-FORCE-ART is wrong, LP-LP-HK+→-FORCE-HP+→-PERFECT is the correct way). Also, it can make a character recover quicker when knocked down.

    The FORCE button can also be used as a "Burst" button to break out from chains and combos but not PERFECT or PERFECT+ ARTs.

    Chains: Ok, SFIII moment again, this is something like LP-HK-HP+→. That's a chain

    Combos: Combos are command normals that can go cancel into other normals, into a chain or into a SUPER, PERFECT and PERFECT+ ART. Combos lose damage overall due to canceling. This is also is affected by FORCE as well.

    That's the end of System Direction. Expect concepts to be updated here.

    As cheap as it looks, it's a concept!

    Controls! (yes there are some differences, but it's esscentally the same)

    So I was thinking of pulling a Shoma and post a bunch of writings here on my blog. Or that are character related to random stories I thought up.

    But since no one reads my blog, it would be great to get some insight on this.

    I was thinking transcripts of the comic I'm doing possibly.

    So the pillows latest single release - "Ladybird Girl" together with "And Hello!".

    Show casing their standard flare that they aren't old enough, infact they've aged quiet well, you can almost tell they haven't aged at all since their debut EP nearly 20 years ago! (It's a lie, they've aged enough so you can tell). Scores are pretty random, mostly based on how catchy they are to me.

    1 Ladybird Girl

    A short harpsicord intro and the drums kick in with some palm muted guitar. Slow build up until the chorus section. Simple chords have never sounded better (along with the loud/quiet/loud dynamic, as made famous by The Pixies). A standard sounding pillows tune that should cater to everyone's tastes. It's not too heavy, still very much loud and the LQL dynmaic works wonders. It's even got a catchy chorus too boot, and it's in english (This is love, is this love? and Ladybird Girl, Ladybird girl, my girl).

    3.8/5

    2 And Hello!

    Straight forward pillows calm rock track (similar to various other release). You might find yourself aimlessly moving your feet to this song. It's catchy nature and simple melodies are it's strong points by far. Hell it's solo is just as good too. Nothing too complicated and fits the song well. I believe more people will like And Hello! more then the single itself.

    4.5/5

    Exciting for their next LP, and going by these, shouldn't be disappointing.

    #1 - 15 Steps - Laced with a clapping drum beat and samples of kids cheering comes the opening track to Radiohead's "In Rainbows." Proving that they can still be genre defying per release. Hearing the song just a year ago and listening to the final product brings out shades of blue for this track. Excellent tracking, noise everywhere, typical Radiohead flare with ambiant noise. Keeping it's "live" feel from last year, and the many, many, MANY live versions I've heard this song, hearing the final studio polished sound of this nearly brought tears to me eyes. This will certainly get you clapping.

    #2 - Bodysnatchers - Layers of dirty guitars, dry drums and an audible voice comes a song that will bring back memories of the 12 years ago to some. Sounding like it was just ripped out from The Bends era. So they've brought back the guitars and the tone and how does it stack up? You can easily place this into The Bends it's not funny. If you were a fan of The Bends LP this will certainly be up your ally. Vocals were audible, but hard to tell what's he's saying, while on purpose and trying to retain it's feel from last year's mini tour. While still retaining in esscense, I do miss the blaring guitars that practically made Thom Yorke's voice nearly inaudible. - Note: Filled with noise, alot of it.

    #3 - Nude - Nearly 10 years in the making. From the OK Computer era, played once in 2002 by request, and jammed upon during the Hail To The Thief tour. Radiohead afficinado will find this song to be "THE" song. As it is the most requested, most listened too and most loved (behind True Love Waits and Big Boots). What's in: New dub influnced bassline, reversed and forward played strings, wailing vocals and the calmness of both Ed & Jonny's solid notched guitar playing - What's out: The organ, the glockenspeil, the old bass, the keyboards, the distortion on the outro and Thom's guitar. The attraction: A slow lullby-like ballad that will make any crowd silent, standing, and wondering what just happened. The infedality of a relationship come to light in this song. This song was my limit, watery eyes hit me. Just hearing a final version of a song that you love so dearly finally get recorded hits you here. OK Computer fans should find this song the most appealing besides my next entry.

    # 4 - Weird fishese/Arpeggi - Debuting 2 years ago with a full orchestra to great acclaim, comes the final rendition of something you could of sworn they've been working on since OK Computer. Arpeggi brings shades of DJ Shadow like-drumming and can be easily compared to OK Computer's album opener, Airbag. But that's where the similarities end. With the drum beat in place, we kick the bass in and the rythmic guitar playing 3 riffs over and over. Cue in Jonny's guitar, slowly building in pace with it's quietness. Yorke's fascination with oceans comes in lyrically, together with Ed's rythmic guitar section entering, with a melody of what sounds like a thousand arpeggios, Yorke's vocals shine and Ed's haunting wails all suddenly come to a halt with harp noises, a lowly guitar, and various strings, only to get kicked back up with the drum beat and a bassline towards the final section and the return of a thousand arpeggios, this time from more then just guitars, closes the song greatly.

    # 5 - All I Need - The haunting noises, a trip-hop beat, drone like bass and soften piano playing over. Very reminiscent of the songs found on Amnesiac. Could this be the love song everyone was expecting from Radiohead? Well with a title like that and a chorus with "You are all I need, you are all I need." Yeah well, You probably guessed it. Hearing the song in it's final form and compairing it with all those times played live. It's come a long way. While practically the same, what's added are various horns, which cap the song greatly and the build up towards the end is espeically exciting. Is this Radiohead song actually, god forbid, happy? By all means, it's up to you. To me, it's about someone feeling lonely from being away from their loved one for a few months.

    # 6 - Faust Arp - An acoustic number with a string section laid out by the mad mind of Jonny Greenwood. The shortest number on the album and in Radiohead's whole back catologue. This could possible be "Burn the Witch" ? Probably, but until I get my DISCBOX and read the lyrics. I won't understand a single thing Yorke says in this song, and this is my second time (thus far) listening to it. But hey, it's an interesting song to say the least. It flows greatly after All I Need and the next track. But this could of been perfectly laid out as a B-side should they ever consider a single's release.

    # 7 - Reckoner - Alright, what the hell just happened here? What happened to roary vocals, grungey guitar, mad bass and drums? Wow what a long shot this song came out to be. But by all means, it isn't bad, just weird to me. Here we have, probably what I find the most radio-friendly song on the whole album. It's subtle song with various precussion instruments everywhere with strings and guitar. I don't know where or how to compare this to previous material. But wow, you'll wonder.

    #8 - House of Cards - Slow Radiohead ballad again! But this is actually very interesting song, Ed practically fills this song with his noise, from his guitar no less and and slow, steady rythm makes you feel at peace. But behind all the calm rythms lies the sinister lyrics, about constant denial. "Changes from the live setting" you ask, dear reader. Well for one, there's more ambiant noise. Live I always thought this was a weak number. It never could really grab you in, this may of been the time passed between the first time I heard this in June till now, but it's grown on me a little since them. Not bed, but not good either I find. But will it see a future with only the Next Track button being pushed? Time will only tell.

    #9 - Jigsaw Falling Into Peices - After a slow peice, we bring up the tempo again, this time with an arpeggio of acoustic guitars! Not a solo number by any means, but a full band experience. Gone are the rocking overdriven guitars, replaced with similarly rocking, but not overdriven acoustic guitars and loud, but not too loud bass. Ed's chilling Ohhs make this song quite a number and fills perfect with Thom's vocals. In typical Radiohead fashion, synths and ambiant sounds are ahead for you. This piece would find a nice home following Amnesiac's "Knives Out."

    #10 - Videotape - And it all comes down to this. The album closer, and it's a heartful one at that. Probably the best closer since OK Computer's "The Tourist" (Not saying the previous albums had bad closers, but this ranks near the top of excellent closers). Also by far one of my favorite songs off the album (and in Radiohead's extensive catologue). The calmness of Thom's voice, the beautiful piano riffs and the lone high bass - all playing to a harmony of one man's journey through life captured on videotape. What is said is probably one of the most memorable lines ever written by Thom. 'this is my way of sayin goodbye, bcoz i can't do it face to face coz im talkin' to you - whatever what happens now you should be afraid bcoz today is the greatest day i ve everseen'
    If that doesn't hit you somewhere, well then, time you did a little soul searchin.

    In The Grand Scheme of things - This is a great album by Radiohead. Catering everyone's tastes from nearly every era (Sorry Pablo Honey fanboys/girls). Now with the most bias as possible, this album is the best. Ever. Ha, actually I'll go more into it, maybe a track ranking by my tastes.

    AT NUMBER 10;
    Faust Arp - Nothing against the song, it makes the album flow. Which is the only reason I see on the album.
    NUMBER 9;
    Reckoner - Wonderful song, but severaly different from what I expected.
    NUMBER 8;
    House of Cards - It's getting there.
    NUMBER 7;
    Jigsaw Falling Into Place - I like the live version more because of it's overdriven sound.
    NUMBER 6;
    15 Steps - How come I end up where I started~
    NUMBER 5;
    Bodysnatches - UHH THE BENDS
    NUMBER 4;
    Arrpeggi - I like Airbag, I like this. You like Airbag, you'll love this.

    OK HARD PART NOW, REALLY REALLY HARD

    Number 3;
    Nude - Alright, I love it, it nearly made me cry. It's awesome.
    Number 2;
    Videotape - The album closer is an excellent song, why is it ranked #2? Well, I miss it's great build found in the live version from last year.
    Number 1;
    All I Need - Ranked #1, only by a bit.

    This is an excellent album, and best of all you can get it for free at www.inrainbows.com by regging up with W.A.S.T.E. However, if you don't fancy signing up, here is another link. Also before the police come running in (Gamecop). Radiohead has expressed their opinions on the distribution of the new album, go crazy. It's 160kps MP3s, DRM free and we can do whatever we want with it. Even if it's eventually released in stores on CD. You want to support Radiohead's cause? Sign up with W.A.S.T.E. and hit pre-order for the download only and put in how much you want. 1 pence is enough for their cause, and they know it. It's a great album that's worth my 10 something dollars.

    NEW MUSIC!

    FEIST FEIST FEIST!

    So one track got me interested into listening to her stuff. That song was "One Two Three Four" off her new album The Reminder. Which is worth the funds AS SOON AS I GET MONEY.

    Now I'll start it off with "One Two Three Four," the leading single off the album. Of what I assume is about a couple who have now changed and matured enough to reminisinced on their "teenage love" and how their hopes have changed. Seeminly sung innocently to the listener. Might give you a hit (if your emotional) about how being a teenager is. Fun song to listen too, and the video is very enjoyable with the dancing. I highly suggest checking out her album.

    The artist to the comic I'm writing is back to school and is busy as ever and we're a little behind schedule on our first batch of pilot editions to send to a few people. We're also toying around with the idea of the title again. Arcanium (Without the "Stadium" part), The Last General and Momentary Lapse are our current favorites. Of course the original title is still up, but I think it died out. Also it's too obvious an reference to music (Stadium Arcadium being an album by the Peppers).

    Also reviews of Melty Blood+ReACT+FINAL TUNED+Melty Blood Act Cadenza Ver.B will be made into ONE review. Both Tomb Raider Legend and Anniversary are also to be completed, as well as Bioshock, which I recently got working by disabling all the High Res pass options and Rune Factory Harvest Moon, Harvest Moon DS, Izuna: The Unemployed Ninja and Pokemon Daimond & Pearl, which was partly written already. These are on my list to complete but I'm swamped with writing chores on the comic and a script adaption of Part III of the series.

    Sum of all Trips;
    Bought games and shirts tax free in New Hampshire, including Bioshock Limited Edition ($60.00 - NO TAXES FTW). Got some action in Hampton with a nice waitress french girly, then I proceeded to get lost the morning after staying with her overnight. NYC Bagels, Maine fried clams and boston lobster meals. Along with an actual Taco Bell meal (Canadian Taco Bell sucks compared to the sheer amount of crap we got at an American Taco Bell) and various other fast foods

    Day 1: Drove into NYC, didn't buy anything except some bagels then left the city for Hampton Beach.

    Arriving sometime around 13:20 and checked in hotel then proceeded to the beach for women and food. Spent the rest of the day doing this until around 17:00. Found a very popular seaside restaurant & bar that was closing down for some reason. I think we went through a box of coronas from the bar section while eating our meals. Seafood related meals. I asked the waitress serving us if I could take her picture. Leading some of my drunk cousins to say various things in relation to me trying to get her. Due to being partly buzzed, it got me to ask her what she was doing after her shift. Which resulted in me taking a private tour of the beach front with her at night, more booze, sex and her phone number. All that which stemmed from "I want to take a picture of our cute waitress" while I was drinking down some coronas.

    Had no clue how to get back to my hotel. Spent my time waiting for them to call my cel at her apartment. Which was fun! -> Day 2

    Day 2:

    They picked me from the restaurant since I was told to meet them there and the waitress was going the same way.

    Picked me up, they jokingly comment bout crap. They even mention my age, she was thrown off a little by that since she's about 22~23 and I'm 19. Said my bye and "hope to see/pleasure you again" then we headed to Maine for lunch. Stopped at this small, but very popular out door local fast food place serving clam-dishes. Had Clamchodah in a bread bowl with fried clams (clams in batter then deep fried) and a clam sandwich. EXCELLENT STUFF. The chodah was a great wake up call since I didn't eat in the morning (insert sexual innuendo here about eating something else) and the sandwich (sautayed clams+bell peppers+house sauce+lettuch+tomato) & fried clams were too good with house sauce dip. Cheap too, something like 30 bucks for all 4 of us.

    We then proceeded to drive around Maine for anything else. We did this for a while. Found a mall, arcade was crap. Like the arcade at Hampton Beach, 5 arcades not one of them had anything. One of them had a DDRSuprnova machine. Not a single fighter in sight other then Marvel vs Capcom. And the sticks to that were broken to boot. This arcade didn't have anything recent other then MvC2 and Tekken 4. These guys don't bother, maybe because it's a touriest state.

    On the way back, headed to Fox Run Mall, one of the main tourist attractions of New Hamsphire are the tax free malls. Bought some stuff, including a Gears of War shirt from a Hot Topic. TTT (Used)/Rune Factory(New)/Bioshock Limited Ed./Izuna (New)/Nightshade (used)

    Day 3:

    Woke up at 6, ate breakfast, packed our crap, turned in our keycards and headed to boston. We arrived during a traffic jam and proceeded to get lost in the city. Had chinese at lunch. Clam and shrimp dishses with some fried noodles+beef & brocoli. 47 dollars well spent. Filled us up well. Wandered around till 4 and bought a boston pizza, along with that I bought a lobster sandwich which was 12~ dollars.

    Then we begin the trip home with occasional stops to buy random crap.

    my 9800 Pro's fan died, yeah, pretty sad way for a card to go out ;_;

    Anyways, ranbat 1.2 is this weekend and there's gonna be a roll call bout it for 2k2 and 3s. Removed Vampire 2 due to lack of interest sadly. Keep an eye out on the thread.

    2 New games fresh out of the bag.

    Haven't tried C&C3 yet but got STALKER installed and running. Thought so far? Decent game that can run on this guy's 9800 Pro. The bad? Saving games is completely screwed. I'm about 4 hours into the game, then I die... I try to load game, nothing... Something is up, you'd think after taking so long to come out, 1 month of testing would of been nice. But alas, it shall (Is?) fixed with a recent patch. Sucks that I might have to restart again.

    Yes this is getting me off WoW for now. Until C&C3 captivates me.
