  1. I love this part of the description: * Breath taking lenticular center display.
  2. Yeah, I think everyone does. That speed test said that you read stuff on the computer at 80% your regular paper speed.
  3. Uh huh...I have one under my bed.
  4. This is awesome: http://www.portablesystems.bravepages.com/dreamcast.html More pictures: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/dkap01@pacbe...l.net/my_photos I really want one of these so I can carry around my Capcom vs. SNK 2 and Street Fighter III: Third Strike.
  5. Yeah, I noticed my complete ownage so I just wondered if you guys were still doing it.
  6. You can say that. But I always had NeoRageX installed and I played it occasionally so I didn't quit emulation completely. My interest reignited when Garou Prototype came out. I had to download it in the computer lab, split the files so they could fit on floppy disks, bring it up to my computer and copy them to my harddrive and recombine them. Then it died down again till I learned of SNK vs. Capcom: Chaos (I was actually looking for Capcom vs. SNK) and KOF 2000-2002. Then I came here for Samurai Shodown 5, the rest you can say is history.
  7. For it to update in your sig, you have to send the results and it takes up to 6 hours to show the change.
  8. I thought the only connection between Street Fighter and Rival Schools was that Sakura makes an appearance? Only one man can show us the path...WHERE IS K'ANON MAN?!
  9. Don't worry about that. I came back to Neogeo emulation the day I joined here and I was out of the scene since NeoRageX 0.5.
  10. Are you guys still pulsing? Have you guys submitted your clicks to update the score?
  11. ALL games require a DAT.
  12. Ok, first thing, have set up the directories properly?
  13. Goddamit! It stopped downloading at 110 mb!
  14. I must get that.
  15. Does an exclamation point appear over your head when your ankle is being eaten and not in Alert Mode?
  16. That's completely opposite of what I've been reading. As Agozer said, Sony is investing time in making sure it has legacy compatibility. However with Microsoft it would be tough to do it since they are now using ATI graphics and it could violate copyright laws if they tried to emulate Nvidia pathways. It also doesn't have a harddrive. But I like backwards compatibility, lots of people trade in their old systems when they buy new ones but keep the games.
  17. Christmas was originally a Pagan holiday, iirc. Also, Jesus was born in the fall, not winter. Though I see your point. Christmas isn't really religious anymore anyway. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> when was christmas a pagan holiday? anyways every christian knows that jesus wasnt born in on december 25th... the fact is we have no idea. So we just picked a day in the middle of the winter to make people celebrate his birth even though it wasnt his birth day but just a day out of the year to celebrate it anyways. Also how can u say its not a religious holiday anymore when most people go to church on christmas then anyother day... haha kinda funny how people can be... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Babylonians celebrated something about the Goddess of Nature on Dec. 25 which included big feasts, gift giving, and just being Merry. And also during Europe before the supposed birth of Christ, there were such festivities like Yule which was celebration of Mithras, the Sun God. Hell, even Easter has pagan roots since it comes from the word Eostra, goddess of Spring, who was celebrated at that time of the year. But even so, it's still a Christian religious holiday. It's a flocking Day of Obligation and it's probably one of the only ones most Christians observe (probably without knowing it's a day of obligation)! That's why we don't celebrate it, my parents wouldn't want a whole bunch of Christians shitting all over our religious holidays by completely commercializing it. Actually, I wouldn't mind celebrating Hannukah since I like the Jewish faith the most, they have no Hell. I think everyone should watch The Charlie Brown Christmas Special to learn the true meaning of Christmas.
  18. Pearl Jam - Do the Evolution
  19. Consoles will NEVER be that expensive. They won't sell to the majority of the console market. But it seems that the next generation are going to have multiple levels of their consoles with extra stuff and some of those might cost around $500.
  20. Well I don't think anyone loses all of them.
  21. Well that happens every generation. Consoles are more powerful for like 5 to 6 months and then the next generation of PC graphics cards come out. Don't forget that the people who make the graphics processors for these consoles are the same ones that make them for PC. We just get cards that are way more expensive than the entire console.
  22. Well English had practically become the business language of the world.
  23. Well this vaccine is derived from each person's dendritic cells so that should prevent that. The way they work (this is a basic explanation since I haven't taken immunology yet) is that these dendritic cells check for pathogens and when they find one they mature and then help activate T-cells by feeding them the antigen (a molecule that immune cells respond to) that is derived from the pathogen they attached too. This is how diseases new to your body are targetted and killed. In this case, the dendritic cells taken from the patients are introduced to killed HIV virus which also taken from the patients and that creates an antigen to tell whatever T-cells are left to destroy the HIV. Curiously, the way HIV causes disease is by infecting a particular dendritic cell which then go to the lymph nodes (which is very important for the immune system) and from there they attack helper T cells. I hope that didn't bore you.
  24. Did you have a document open in Word?
