  1. If you mean KOF2003's own options menu, just switch the game into Console mode and you'll see it. Only the Test menu and the game's own Options menu can be used to change the difficulty, time, the number of rounds, etc.
  2. Yes, although SiS isn't a video card, since it is just an integrated graphics chips that uses your systems own memory for itself, instead of having its own dedicated video memory. Most integrated chips are below minimum requirements for adequate Dreamcast emulation, and the only exceptions are some integrated chips from ATI and Nvidia (Radeon Mobile and GeForce Go line respectively). You would need a fairly decent video card, which certainly doesn't have to be top of the line. Any ATI Radeon from 9800 and up as well as any Nvidia GeForce 5700 and up will do more than fine. What matter in emulation of any kind most is the CPU speed, everything else is more or less secondary and not as important in terms of smoothness and overall ability to render the DC graphics properly. 512MB of RAM will do fine, although having more than that never hurts.
  3. The SiS is beyond pathetic, that's your problem, to be blunt. It's simply is way underpowered to handle something like Dreamcast emulation. The fact that it's integrated makes it twice bad (although all SiS chips these days are of the integrated kind).
  4. Setting the plugin to keyboard [Winhook], means that you want nullDC to emulate the Dreamcast keyboard addon, not input via a PC keyboard per se. Set nullDC Controller as active, then go to Options --> Plugins --> Maple --> Port A --> Configure keys for Player 1.
  5. Shoot 'Em Up Such a great movie. Loved it.
  6. You should be able to find it in the Readme. Usually the Test Menu is accessed via F2.
  7. VBA-M was yet again updated recently. It's available for Windows, Linux and Mac (both x86 and x86-64 builds) Here's what's new: Thanks to squall_leonheart @ EmuTalk for the heads up. Get it here.
  8. killer7. A seriously underappreciated game.
  9. Depends on what version of Universe BIOS you have. naturally, older versions do not have cheats for newer games.
  10. Say no more, Mr. 4ch regular.
  11. NeoRAGEx, Nebula, Kawaks and even FBA have Arcade/Console switches. Hell, MAME too.
  12. The problem with hentai is that it gets boring and old™ really fast.
  13. All post-1999 games need their P1 or M1 rom to be hacked if one wishes to run the games in NeoRAGEx.
  14. I'm 7.8 stone... and why do you Brits insist on sticking to something as archaic as stone? Plus, don't get me started on the usage of yards and miles. I thought you would have learned to use metrics now like the rest of Europe.
  15. Happy Birthday Belthasar.
  16. You don't have the proper MAME set for ROTD. As for other Neo-Geo emulators, the likes of FBA, Nebula and Kawaks work with MAME sets. You shouldn't bother with NeoRAGEx unless you happen to appreciate really old emulators (also, NeoRAGEx doesn't work with encrypted sets and doesn't use MAME sets nor the MAME Neo-Geo BIOS set).
  17. You need the NAOMI BIOS files. Naomi, Naomi2 and Naomigd. In addition, you need the proper romsets as well as the disc images for GD games.
  18. IIRC = If I Recall/Remember Correctly. Bootlegs of arcade games have nothing to do with PCs, nor to they affect any perceived performance. Bootlegs are usually made with cheaper parts (PCB's, chips etc.) and perhaps contain some edited graphics, thus being hacks. Bootlegs are in essence, cheap knock-offs of the original product. Changes in the likes of KOF10th Anniversary and other include edited graphics and music in some parts of the game, edited palettes different or slightly altered gameplay elements, no name a few. I suggest you take a look at MAWS (http://www.mameworld.net/maws/) and read for yourself.
  19. I also don't think that forcing people to register just to download attachments is a good idea. If you really want people to join your forum, it's supposed to be the discussions and the content of the board that draws a user in... forcing people to register by posing heavy restrictions for guests (like not being able to view topics/images/attachments etc. at all without registering, especially if the attachments are something fairly generic in nature) does no good, unless the primary goal from the very beginning has been to keep the board private and invite only. A good example would be this one site I stumbled across when trying to solve a virus problem that my friend had. The only way you could download removal tools was to register and take part in posts some arbitary number of times before you were deemed "worthy enough" to get access to their download section.
  20. Because IIRC, Ash is based on MAME Plus!, not MAMEFX or MAMEUI.
  21. Shin Megami Tensei: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army. This game is genius.
  22. Care to elaborate? She isn't the type of person who believes a simple "it's buggy, don't buy it."
  23. A good friend of mine is a hardcore girl gamer, although she's heavily geared towards JRPGs. Still, she just asked me the other day if she should get the Orange box for the PS3, just so that she could experience Half-Life 2 and Portal. She doesn't like online gaming, so Team Fortress 2 is out of the question, even when that comes with the package.
  24. Let's face it: French people are excellent at developing games. Case in point: Flashback.
  25. Kannagi and Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka just started, so groovy.
