I don't think, that DSEmu can handle Final Fantasy III yet, you probably have to try it on no$gba.

Yeah, I did a lot of these stuff for my older games. Create a DVD from multiple CDs, include Patches and Mods and an own autostart Menu and then burn it to DVD. All you need, you will find at http://www.cd-2-dvd.com/ and if you need additional advices, just ask me via pm or in this thread.

Formatting and Reinstalling is the last way... I want to fix it, to don't have to install and update all the stuff... and no, I don't want to install XP and use a Virtual Machine instead. Mmh... okay, I'll try to create a live USB stick edition of a Linux Distro with a NTFS plugin... wasn't in linux for a long time. My old distros couldn't read the NTFS format IIRC. And yeah, these Windows Live version, is this Windows PE 2.0 and it's for Vista, that's why I asked, whether anyone knows, where to get it or how to get it. ANd no, I don't need torrents or such stuff, want to get it L-E-G-A-L, if its possible.

Whoa... what a last holiday day! As some of you know, I am studying 500km away from home, that's the reason my desktop rig isn't updated for a long time. But I installed Vista some month ago, because of the MSDNAA deal of our university and some Vista related coding and testing. I didn't had any problem the last few month, my parents used it most of the time for internet surfing and playing games. Auto update was activated and secured with spyware blocker and such stuff. So nothing big at all. But yesterday it happened: I shutdown my PC to restart it and it didn't started! The loading screen appears but after that it's all black. I tried "last known config" and all the other options, even safe mode didn't helped. Last thing I see is "Loading:\windows\system32\drivers\crcdisk" than it stops responding. I've searched on Google and saw, that a lot other guys had the same problem, but there doesn't seems to be a fix... Probably some of you guys knows a fix. I've read, that I have to rename or delete C:\windows\system32\drivers\pcmcia.sys and C:\windows\system32\driverstore\filerepository\pcm cia.inf_539d553e, but I wonder how to do... I can't come into my system folder at all and even in Linux (knoppix distro) I coulnd't rename these files. "You are not allowed to..." was the message! I read about Windows PE 2.0, but I didn't found it yet, it would probably a solution, but probably not. I'm really pissed, because already back at university and my desktop rig is at home and isn't working. I'll try to fix it at the weekend, but I need some advices... here are a lot guys with a great CPU knowledge, but I don't know about Vista. We'll see... And please, I don't need to get answers like: Vista SUX use XP instead or Linux is better, ebcause like I already stated I need it for coding and testing. Very long text and short story: help me!

Why did you get confused? There's a prog, called glovepie and it reads the movements of the Wiimote and converts it to mouse movings... btw: you dig a more than 9 month old thread!

Yeah, I also really can recommend Kega Fusion! Steve Snake did a awful job, to bad that he's now deving for XBLA and hadn't updated his site/emu.

The last "real" FBA release was August 10, 2007 and the forks are stilll being updated. I can really suggest you to try the FBA build for the games it supports, because most of the time they are emulated better than in M.A.M.E. IMHO, it's easier in its GUI and its settings are also superb. I really can recommend FBA and its forks with all CPS1/2, neo-geo games - and probably CPS3 in future.

Yeah, nearly the same here... IIRC there are 2 In the Groove (yeah, not Dance Dance!) cabs in the next 100km... ANd one Mortal Kombat 2 cab... that's all in my area afaik. But back to topic, I can agree to the opinion of most of you guys: sega rules in making arcade games...

I really like that FBA fork, but I dislike the disagreement, because it's missing the source... But a lot new great features in this build... cheat.dat support, yeah!

There are many more great games, I have to contact GC to show him, that are a lot of great beta games!

Thanks Robert, good to hear, that 1 emu is supporting the emu in it's legal ways. There's always another way to get these files, but we shouldn't spread links to it on the forum.

Yeah, nice, so 1emu is supporting this "leak the newest version stuff"... great!? >.< I thought 1 emu came to legallity some long time ago. SO next thing is: we should all upload our bioses and trade them! Really I'm not supporting this f*ck so I wonder why there's a link to a leaked version shortly after the news!? ANd jsut to state the website, you don't have to wait, till 2.7... when the next version is 2.6a, you will also get the 2.6 release. You always will get the second last version and we should support the amu dev with this desicion, not destroying it...

Then you can still use the second last version and wait till the newest will go public. It isn't that bad, that you always have to use the latest version.
