Arcades is an awesome update, I miss hyper street fighter 2 anniversary edition, but I have the files and the VMM settings in my Mame xbox install (and it runs) so I can add it to Arcades (thanks!) One thing I'd like to do is sort my Arcades, Mame and FBAxxx hd installs out so I have one rom set - maybe something for next Xmas for me to do! were the drivers for hyper streetfighter2 added to mamedox? im geussing its the asia rom version that runs on this emu. edit/had a quick look and i see that the rom dosent work on mamedox.

just watched national treasure2,its a good movie but not as good as the first flick.

im a bit lost with all this dsemu stuff,so just a couple of questions to help me. just how good is ds emulation on the pc?geussing its much the same as n64,not entirely perfect and do you need a pc with a lot of horsepwer under the hood to run it? and are most ds games playable or is it just a selct few?

i only got it yesterday but so far its pretty good,if you like a non brainer fps with plenty of blood and i mean lots of BLOOD,then go for it.one thing i did notice is that now and then when it gets a bit busy,then there seems to be a kind of shudder in the screen.now i dont know if its because i havent updated my dash but it can be annoying. games im getting in febuary-devil may cry4 and burnout paradise.

strikers 1945plus(neogeo) is veryplayable bs i think im gonna try some more roms later bs are there any you would like me to try?

is there a favourites option in pro 1.28,as i use an earlier version. if there is then just use that and it will save you a bit of time.

romscan wasnt in platinum,it was added to arcades after people requested it.so you can now add some of your own roms as well ive been testing a few,like mortal kombat1,2,3.they play fine if you have the sound disabled. in the middle of trying strikers1945 2,3and plus. thanks for the emu britneyspairs.

ok heres what to do first off i would delete the mamedox stuff from your xbox hdd and that includes the gamesave. this is what i did,put mamedox platinum2 in your hdd first then run it. then put arcades in your hdd,and just overwrite the platinum files with the arcades files.but dont delete your platinum gamesave and that should do it.all the roms you get work 100% ive tested most of them. hope that helps.

there are 2 ways to mod an xbox. modchip or softmod. softmods probably the way to go,there are 2 ways to softmod an xbox,you can either open up your xbox and run the linux program that way or you can do it with a gamesave expoit which most people seem to go for. i chipped mines but ill try and tell you what you neeed for the gamesave exploit. you can use one of these games to run it. james bond agent under fire,mechassault or splintercell(cant remember which splintercell) these games have to be the original games and not the platinum releases. a memory card and a linux gamesave install. devia eleven might be able to help you out with hte install its really very simple,as he softmoded his xbox. there is a very easy to use tutorial over at xbox scene in the forums a stickied tutorial which is worth a read,again this is definetly the best way i think to mod your xbox.

ok ive finally got my 360 back and flashed,so i was reading somewhere that some games will update your dash and so i was wondering does doing this affect your firmware at all seeing as mines is now flashed,coz thats the last thing i want. also there was a fall update as well on xboxlive to let you play divx files so would this not affect my firmware either. thanks for any replies.

Oh definitely, I'm just going slowly, because I'm filling each emulator with the maximum number of roms. ive got svery single rom on mines for most systems.the xbox is a great emu machine,just a pity more people dont try it out.

cant see it happening +T+ released the source code for fbaxxxpro,he wont be working on fba anymore so idont know but you never know.

looking good,are you not putting anymore emus on your xbox,seeing as youve got a 120gig hdd.

im going to when i get vf5,soldier of fortune and a few other games next week,im just wondering how long it will take before i get banned.

good news,got my 360 back today working fine and with the added bonus of being able to play backups as well.dont know what firmware he flashed the drive with im just glad to have it back and working.

the only emu that i know of is a nes emu,called nescafe.but this emu was done through streaming through a pc,t think.the 360 still hasnt been fully cracked yet,backups just now im afraid. seeing as the xbox plays xbox1 games i was always hoping that someone could try and find a way to play the xbox1 emus on the 360,but that would be a big IF.
