Ok this is my first time using news gruops, i got my server and stuff from my isp, and i entered in all the details in newsbin pro, but whenever i click on one of the servers eg alt.binaries.emulation.neogeo it says downloading 300+ msgs, but by the time its finished only about 4 shows up, and its like that for alot of them, such as alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation, only about 10 show up for that and it says download over a 1000+msgs, can anyone tell me why thats happening?, and whats the best newsgroup program to use??.

No i don't mean about going 3d ( i wouldn't mind a 3d game along with their 2d games), i too hope they stay 2d forever, but it sure would be nice to see higher res games and cleaner gfx in the games.

Resident Evil 4 looks sweet as hell, i can't wait for it to come out, i don't care how many resident evil games they keep bringing out as long as they can keep a good story going in them all, and imo the RE games have a better story then SH games, so i like the resident evil games better, but i like SH too.

Man id love to have the money to buy that, be so cool to own the arcade version of kof2k3.

I hope we will see a few more games released on the neogeo before it comes to an end, but i still thing its great snk are finally taking a step up and moving on to more powerfull hardware, after all the is not much left that the neogeo can do. just about all the games released on it now look the same as they did 6 years ago.

Pick up xenogears no matter what, its one of the greatest RPG's ever made (well 2nd to FF7), but it does have a great story, and i never noticed any slowdown in FFA or FFC, anyway they are all great games and you should really add them to your collection, Me im a big RPG nut, they are my fav type of game, first RPG i ever played and beat was FF6, was my fav until i played chono trigger, then that was knocked off the top spot by FF7 and so far FF7 has stuck as my fav RPG, 2nd fav would have to be xenogears, then chono trigger then ff6. anyway no matter what pick up xenogears, if you are any type of rpg fan at all you will be dead happy with that game.

Come on 1 more vote for vf4: evo to make it at a draw .

I wanna know if the is any emu out that can play Power Instinct 3 - Groove On Fight??, i know mame doesn't have it in its working list, but is the some kind of hack to mame or some other emulater that can play this game??.

Since the seems to be some VS topics popping up i thought id start my own one, and as you can see from the topic its what beat em up out of tekken 4 or virtua fighter 4 evolution do you think is the best??. For me i have to go with virtua fighter 4 evo, it has so much dept to its gameplay, and when you master someone like akira it just feels so great, i've always liked the virtua fighter games over the tekken games cos they always had more dept, don't get me wrong, i love the tekken games too, but i like the VF games better, imo VF4:Evo is the best 3d beat em up out atm.

Yeah but why would you have to have the source for kawa-x ??, shouldn't you only need to write a menu front that can read the rom directorys and show the games thats in the directory, and then have it so when you select your game it launchs the right xbe?, just like one of them xbox game menu selecters does thats out??.

What about one of them menu selectors that lets you put a bunch of emus and games on a dvd and then select the one you want to play??, it would be easy enough to make one up for kawa-x se.

Yeah it takes its time loading games for me too, it says decrypting them, but they are already decrypted??.

No need to hex edited out the crcs yourselfs, i've already done it for ye, and it works great, thanks for the tip MrX , anyway now ye can play the games no matter what crc your file has thanks to MrX. KILLED Theres a link for it there, please go easy with the bandwith, it cant take very much .

Dude thats like saying i don't want ryo and ken in another street fighter game . Anyway did anyone else notice in the first link posted (im sure it was the first link) that kof2k3 was on atomswave(that right?), if so then how does people have the rom of it??, and how is it meant to play when the is no emu out for atomwave.
