  1. I'm on both Windows and Linux. Usually at the same time.
  2. I'm sensing some hostility. I hope this doesnt escalate into something like an argument. Hostility? You're reading into it too much. This is an online forum where anyone and everyone can post masquerading behind some nickname. Take a pinch of salt. IMHO, the best browser right now is Konqueror. But you'll need to switch your entire OS (I'm assuming you're on Windows or some variant) to use it. The best browser on Windows (IMO again), would have to be Opera. I have had no problems with it so far. It's fast, small, doesn't pollute the registry with crap, handles those pesky popups, has an intuitive UI, mouse gestures, allows your browsing record (history/cache/urls etc) to be deleted easily (whether thru the browser UI, or by manually deleting files) and Opera Software (the company) has a fantastic track record of fixing bugs and no, I don't work for Opera Software, nor do I own stock.
  3. All the more reason not to be using IE that being the case. There are far better alternatiives. Opera for instance, uses far less resources than IE on Windows. You think I haven't tried Opera? As I said, for some reason, other browsers just don't feel "right", less resources or not. well, how do you define "right" The other browsers force me to redownload flash/java/whatever plugins and all the other stuff. They had a tendency of 1) Screwing up my Favoites after importing 2) Not importing my Favorites at all for some reason. Other browsers have weird way of loading pictures and they seemed too slow when loading pages, java loading takes longer...or then I'm just paranoid. Either all that or then I'm just too accustomed to using IE. Funny how I don't experience them (sans the importing of favourites). My conclusion: yup, you must be too accustomed to IE. Hopefully you are also not accustomed to the popups/adware/spyware/blahblah that come "bundled".

  6. Konqueror Safari ps: Windows isn't the only thing out there, you know.
  7. Is this possible? Anyone with advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  8. I've seen a few episodes. The japanese name doesn't sound that cool though. has quite a few metal tracks, but gets quite repetitive after a few episodes. The "dude" in question is some middleaged ex-rockstar-turned-stressed-out-salaryman who is facing a middle age crisis. He becomes the unlikely hero when an alien green haired chick discovers that his guitair music can power a space cannon which enables them to win an intergalactic war.
  9. Boot the machine with a Linux LiveCD and see if if the old OS still exists. One of the earlier posters was probably right. Your windows machine probably caught a virus.
  10. He is the final boss in Samurai Shodown 5 And he is a major biatch to find against! He's really easy if you find the flaw in his A.I. From that point on its very predictable, even on the hardest setting. ...or if you're using Mina ps: Hope they fix her in the new version. She 0wnz everyone
  11. ....or using sweeps constantly whenever the other player gets up. I don't think of that as a "skill". Reversals. Reversals. Reversals. What reversals? What game? Just about every 2D fighting game ever made.

  13. It's one of her implants. Ash had been eyeing those silicone puppies for himself for quite some time now to complete his sex change operation.
  14. A combo's definition is a series of moves where if the earlier hits connect, the subsequent hits would be unblockable. Therefore, if your jump D can be countered before the next move came out, it clearly isn't a combo. No one to blame here but yourself for your move execution timing. 2ndly, learn to use wakeup/reversal attacks, that's what they're for if you ever find yourself flat on your back.
  15. Do bootleg carts/CDs count? Otherwise, I don't think I own more than 20 games in 15 yr of gaming
  16. The Garou version sounded really good, can't say the same for the SVC, KOF2K3 versions.
  17. What's up with the 4.xx versions? Anything special about these?
  18. Anyone knows where to find them? There was a thread some time back abt them but the links had add fizzled out. No luck on the P2P networks either.
  19. If his running dog Darl McBride pulls off the biggest sham in history of computing...yeah he might very well be.
  20. Most of billy boy's wealth is holed up in his M$ stock which isn't performing too well compared to it's heyday, esp now with the Linux and open source threat getting bigger every day. And getting fined a cool couple hundred mils by the EU recenlty help matters
  21. dir/b will give you just the LFNs. can't be done with sizes with the build-in MS tools, AFAIK. get the cygwin tools if you want to do some complex command-line processing.
