  1. Why do you want to use prototypes if garoun (Garou MotW predecrypted) & kof99nd (predecrypted) stay fully playable ?
  2. I found a good idea : I will make a default.xbe with : kof2k2nd, rotdn, pim, svcplus, svcbl, samsho5 & mslug4nd. That allows to add S1 in rotdn. & I will modify a second default.xbe like the original to add CTHD 2003 as kof2k1nd clone & mslug5nd instead of garoup (prototype) -> garoun (predecrypted ) kof 99nd (predecrypted) will stay fully playable. The removed games will be prototypes : kof99p & garoup.
  3. So, if you have changed V roms names according to mslug5nd V roms names, this change will affect svcplus V roms names too -> If you have kept kof99p & kof99nd as models.

About patches : Bad-to-Good_N64_ROMs_Ips_Patches patcher : IPSWin_v2.0 if you have another patcher like Lunar Ips 5LIPS), you neen't this one. & all other utilities like Tool64 : www.smiff.clara.net/utilities/rom/

Then, you can add CTHD 2003 (the game isn't censored in Winkawaks 1.47) in a new default.xbe with original romsets to use it instead of garoup (Garou MotW prototype) -> You can always use garoun (Garou MotW predecrypted). Yea, thats a good point X theres no need to run GarouP if you have Garoun.....just add cthd2k3 to your normal kawa-x. I've noticed a small problem, mslug5nd can run without S1, but Text like "Insert coin" or "charas lifes" are missing.

  11. Yes I think, only if VMM is implemented. mslug5nd (decrypted C) can't work with Kawa-X if we haven't src because P1 rom is encrypted.
  12. To decrypt C roms, you can use Winkawaks on PC : before launching the encrypted parent romset of the game, in "Tools", click on "Enable save decrypted Cs after loading". Decrypted C + S1 roms will be generated next to Winkawaks.exe. Also, you can use a tool called "Convert2" (Neo Encrypter). To decrypt ROTD V roms, cut encrypted 264-v1.bin of 8 Mb in 2 parts to make decrypted V1 & V2 roms & cut encrypted 264-v2 of 8 Mb in 2 parts to make decrypted V3 & V4 roms. It's the same thing for Mslug4.
  13. You have just to rename, for exemple, 263-cX.bin in ms4n_cX.rom. Check you use decrypted C roms to avoid bugged screen.

  15. About mslug4n, V roms names to use : 263-v1d.bin, 263-v2d.bin, 263-v3d.bin & 263-v4d.bin. About rotdn, V roms to use : 264-v1d.bin, 264-v2d.bin, 264-v3d.bin & 264-v4d.bin. But there isn't charas gauge life with the romset I've specified because S1 rom is removed : it's the only bug about added games. SVC Bootleg, SVC Plus, Matrimelee, KoF 2002 fully decrypted, Metal Slug 4 decrypted C & V, CTHD 2003 Neorage X version & Samurai Shodown V work perfectly.

  18. No, it's not a fake. Also, there is this link, but it seems down : www.mame.cl/mslug5nd.zip the link above is missing the s1 rom it is fake or the dump is no good but i doubt that even the rom size is wrong You needn't S1 rom for text with Mame. It's the same thing with Mslug4d & Rotdd.

V roms are encrypted : to decrypt them, cut V1 rom of 8 Mb in 2 parts to make decrypted V1 & V2 roms & cut V2 rom of 8 Mb in 2 parts to make decrypted V3 & V4 roms. spliting the roms does not decrypt them It's the same thing with mslug4 & rotd encrypted V1 & V2 roms of 8 Mb : to decrypt them they need to be cut in rts to make 4 decrypted V roms of 4 Mb (each).

Because you can find : SVC Plus (svcplus.zip) : dump of a bootleg PCB version ; it's hacked for "Plus" text & enabled hidden chara at select screen ; SVC Bootleg (svcbl.zip) : comes from the dump of SVC Plus ; hex edited to remove "Plus" text & enabled hidden chara at select screen.
