Life sucks

Yeah. Going through a bit of a depression right now. Hate myself, hate my friends. I'll probably get over it soon, but right now I feel like my soul has been crushed.

[Review] GrimGrimoire (25/9/07)

Game: gRiMgRiMoiRe, GrimGrimoire System: PlayStation 2 DVD-ROM Release: June 2007 (NTSC-J), July 2007 (NTSC-U), September 2007 (PAL) Emulators: None   An unconventional Real-Time-Strategy game in every sense of the term is GrimGrimoire, the sophomore effort of VanillaWare Inc., makers of Odin Sphere. GrimGrimoire combines the striking 2d charm and whimsical narrative of its predecessor with perhaps the best control scheme implemented in a PlayStation 2 RTS to date. Training and commanding units

Midterms week...Yay!!!   So i only have two exams during midterms week, which is really awesome, especially because they are my two easiest classes (Psychology and Astronomy)...   As a random factoid...   Every day, the earth begins to revolve slower, causing the days to get longer, because the moon is getting farther away and absorbing Earth's angular momentum. Eventually the moon will tidal lock the earth into orbit, causing the moon to stay in the exact same place above earth. Sadly, this w

Around the pond....

NEW MUSIC!   FEIST FEIST FEIST!   So one track got me interested into listening to her stuff. That song was "One Two Three Four" off her new album The Reminder. Which is worth the funds AS SOON AS I GET MONEY.   Now I'll start it off with "One Two Three Four," the leading single off the album. Of what I assume is about a couple who have now changed and matured enough to reminisinced on their "teenage love" and how their hopes have changed. Seeminly sung innocently to the listener. Might give you

College life is interesting enough. Met some people, classes are somewhat difficult, and I'm still working out on the kinks in scheduling and books. Otherwise, college life is pretty relaxed for the moment. Just need to work on obtaining some junk when I go home on Labor Day weekend to make the overall experience better.

First Weekend

So last night me and a couple of friends i have met this week (all of whom were girls) decided to go frat hopping last night. It was awesome. I only bad one can and then two cups from a keg, so i didnt go overboard, but i had a blast. It was keystone light though, so it was pretty watered down tasting, but it was decent enough to drink. It was really funny though because there were cops out in Greek-Town (where the frats are) and they saw all the underage drinking and did nothing. Yay for l

School's a-comin'...

I have mixed feelings about school starting up again. Mostly good ones, though, which surprises me. Since I pretty much spent the summer being a slug, I'm looking forward to having something to do during the day. Also, my friends were doing a whole lot of traveling, so I didn't see them very often. It'll be cool to see some of them again, after briefly chatting at class registration. Oh man... registration... a pain in a few ways.   First, a few days (read: two) before registration, I received

Sum of all Trips; Bought games and shirts tax free in New Hampshire, including Bioshock Limited Edition ($60.00 - NO TAXES FTW). Got some action in Hampton with a nice waitress french girly, then I proceeded to get lost the morning after staying with her overnight. NYC Bagels, Maine fried clams and boston lobster meals. Along with an actual Taco Bell meal (Canadian Taco Bell sucks compared to the sheer amount of crap we got at an American Taco Bell) and various other fast foods   Day 1: Drove in

Well, damn

After going through 2 crappy soldering irons, I attempted to install a PSP-Devolution modchip into my PSP in order to revive it. Guess what. I flocked it up. Royally. Without realizing it, I melted a few parts on the PSP's mobo. So yeah. WHO WANTS TO BUY SOME PSP PARTS?   Look at my content blocks over yonder ->

[Review] KOF Maximum Impact Regulation A (30/7/07)

Game: King of Fighters: Maximum Impact Regulation ‘A’ (NTSC-J) System: PlayStation 2 DVD-ROM Emulators: None   Right off the bat, this is not KOF: Maximum Impact 3. King of Fighters: Maximum Impact Regulation ‘A’ is a straight PlayStation 2 port of its simultaneously-released arcade version, itself a slightly upgraded Maximum Impact 2. The result is an even finer tune of an already surprisingly good 3d brawler, albeit one based in 2d mechanics. It has more moves, characters and stages than its f
