Dooz Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 Plus I've hated Democrats all my life.Great mindset.
Skythe Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 It's not different from others around here. Some hated Republicans all their life. Sorry if I'm not part of the 40% of voters (actual number) that vote the person who will give them the most money. This is the general Democratic mindset and I don't believe in that. Now get over it.
furakon Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 GryphonKlaw: oncology? i salute you, it takes a big person to do that kind of work, i know what im talking about...
OverlordMondo Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 I've always supported Republicans...until Bush and his Bushisms. They sicken me. The issue I want someone to cover is this "old people tax". I don't know what it's called, but apparently, every time you're paid, they deduct a portion of your salary and give it to old people. But at the rate things are going, I guess WE won't have such a benefit. Which is lame. That means I'm losing money so some old dude can buy a wheelchair and attempt to live longer. Horrible.

When someone says something like that, it doesn't sound like there was much thought or reason put into that decision.

Don't forget that the stereotype is of whiny liberals caring about other people, and of heartless republicans just in it for the money, and those cliches are there for a reason (every stereotype was grounded in truth).

And shiba, if its anything like over here you can vote when you're 18, but you'll have to register to vote soon.
taratata Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Yesterday I heard a speech by Arnold Schwarzenegger saying (not his exact words, but the same meaning):"America should be the champion of freedom in the world, not the UN. If you think like me, then you are a republican." I'd like to know what you guys think about that, especially the ones who are american and who will vote. Do some of you guys really think that a country should consider itself responsible for the freedom of other (sovereign) nations? I think it's anti-democratic and totalitarian (roman empire style), since those other countries and peoples don't vote for the US gov.

For as long as I can remember, the Democrats have had this Robin Hood-ish attitude. Taking money from the rich and give it to the poor. It's pathetic that 40% of the population in the USA have to be the most whiniest, laziest, pieces of complete useless sh!t and all they care is getting money and sitting on their ass. Kids shouldn't be allowed to discuss any forms of politics. They lose automatically.
