Diso Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Heres a topic for you guys to post so we don't have weird topics
Wizard Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Yeah, 5 to 8 hours practically if there is nothing to do all day.
Agozer Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 It varies from time to time. I turn the computer on when I wake up and turn it off when I go to sleep....but I 'm not constantly in front of the screen.
Diso Posted July 21, 2004 Author Posted July 21, 2004 Hrm. I wonder if its tru if you can get a tan from your computer screen.
Chaotica Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 lol. Mine varies, but in the last few months it has been more or less consistent, so I would say 2 - 4 hours most of the time, sometimes alittle more when I am bored, or when a game is engrossing me. Or a particular kind of website.
emsley Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 due to work and exercise...No ware near as much as i want to, but if i aint doing anyof the things i just mentioned...Ill be at my computer.[ and pondering if i should learn PHP]
random guy Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 I'm on the computer pretty much all the time - except for sleep- and class- time anyway.
Diso Posted July 21, 2004 Author Posted July 21, 2004 Wow. Almost all the poll choices have been selected...But whos the bozo that selected I sleep in front of my computer
Ghosty Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 (edited) I'm For About 10 Hours I Don't Know How But Even When I Have School I Still Get The 10 Hours, And 5 More Min utes Till School Starts EDIT: And I Think You Do Get A Tan, I More Of A Tan Than My Sister Who Goes Out Much More Than Me. Agozer Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 You better check the brightness level of your monitor if you start getting a tan.
Gryph Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 (edited) It depends on school and if I'm at home. Basically whenever I'm home I'm on my computer. So a safe guess is around 5-8 hours, but not in a row. I take plenty of breaks. Edited July 21, 2004 by GryphonKlaw
OverlordMondo Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 I've fallen asleep in front of my comp before. I find the keyboard very comfortable. I actually have one computer positioned right next to my bed, so I don't have to move as much to get to it. I have a second one a few feet away, with a chair, and that's the one I usually use.
Diso Posted July 21, 2004 Author Posted July 21, 2004 You better check the brightness level of your monitor if you start getting a tan. Fake. My Computer is 100% brightness and Nothing happened to me yet. However, my brother turnt on a bright lamp and it melted his speaker a little

Wizard Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Mines like 3 steps away! I hate that! Then again, has anyone ever slept on 3 chairs in front of their PC? I mean, its the most convenient way to live.
