ken_cinder Posted April 1, 2004 Share Posted April 1, 2004 Whuppee......it's just a DC client, a glorified Reverse Connect as was already stated.Checked it out, and it doesn't seem to do any file hashing, which btw the newest DC++ does which will lead to TRUE and PROPER multi-source downloads. It also isn't "based" on Direct Connect, it IS Direct Connect. All the hub lists it downloads are DC ones.And I also connected it to my hub,, this POS doesn't have any chat feature unless you force it to show the hub in question (Why hide it from the outset?)........it's just a LEECH MACHINE. You aren't able to change it's slots, it lies about how many hubs it is connected to and it's using DC++ tags.If it IS based on DC++ code, they aren't supplying source and they are obligated to.If it isn't, they shouldn't be passing their client off as something it isn't. This thing is also featureless to the max. MY RATING = 3 Conclusion = TEH SUCK, use reverse connect if you're so hyped about having multi-source downloads, or stick with DC++ cause it's hashing feature will bring multi-source the proper way.
