I'm using the tHc Final MS Green Dashboard (still not really final though). With the Progressive scan patch on an infocus X1 DLP Projector on a 100 inch Diagonal Screen in 480P mode.

Hey garageink....ive seen "mame" cabs that use pc's....they all suffer from a video distortion due to the fact that no matter what your getting a vga signal...when you use the xbox as your mame brain...you get pure emulation...pixel for pixel it is the same as the original arcade boards image output...dont waste your time with a pc...ive been waiting years for a unit that could output a pure signal and had horsepower to emulate roms...Thank God for Bill Gates....that why im so happy when people like you all start giving more games like SVC to my cab...she eats em right up

I'm using unleashx. I like that its not as difficult to skin as MXM and it has pretty good amount of options for it (pretty close to Avalaunch).

I have tottally converted to UnleashX now, no more stone age evox for me. hehehand I unloaded a little disc place by getting rid of boxsplorer and dvd2xbox. if unleash would incorperate a dongle free dvd player I could get rid of dvdx and xbmc too.

xbmc has a lot more uses then just a dvd player man

 

i would use that as a dash but i still perfer ava since you could do other things

xbmc is an amazing proggy but I just don't have alot of need for it. my pc and xbox are only networked when I need to file transfer at the moment. so no streaming mp3s vids or pics. and that seems to me to be xbmc's main strength. once I get moved and set up with broadband I may change my mind about xbmc but right now I don't have much need for it.

i use xbmc as my dashboard since i basically use my xbox as a media player the most. But i keep evox on-hand just incase i ever have to flash my bios.

i tried to flash my matrix with evox once and it screwed everything up. I had to dig up my flasher and reflash from the pc. if you've ever flashed a matrix with the pc you know it's a pain in the a$$. I've read that only the latest ver of evox has a problem flashing matrix.
