Doing a fairly major re org of the way Console and Handheld stuff is sorted and named so its more consistant...this will require some new skin stuff as well....but should be simpler and better named for people....plus a new feature

 

Hope you guys dont like sorting between Console and Handheld stuff, I might just merge that into Home and Arcade only...instead of Arcade, home and handheld....

 

anyway the basic work is done and it should look and feel alot more consistant soon....and maybe a filter Arcade + Home - Arcade Only - Home Only switching button and display on screen thats still in thinkings....

 

also im thinking of adding a file ConsolePath.txt and you can edit the text file to change the path of where to get the cores games from...

 

anyway wish it could be discussed with more of you....but its not troll friendly

finished a tidy up of the console naming and sorting its much more consistant now and nothing is shortened....eg before it was Hand Home Console Now its Arcade or Home only .... and alot of systems where C64 or Commodore 64 now they read Commodore 64 only eg the full name and allways the same...

 

also looking at simplifing left/right sort by system stuff so people can understand it better

nope more news on that stuff soon though I only have MameB6 and Killer Instinct left in cores.... and they dont effect the new way of doing things as they are counted as arcade games

 

also bare in mind im supporting many uses different needs...today im doing alot more showcase videos....with help this stuff would move quicker....like the list I asked for otherwise ill research it and delay the other cores by a few days / maybe a week

 

so far since ShowROOM ive added 6 more cores...a heap of new arcade games...a new console sorting system....some bug fixes...and some new core features....plus 100s more videos to ShowROOM level thats a good start for the time

allways depends on when people want it...as its always moving on....was thinking of looking at the next to cores next week...then looking at a release

thank you for the psx core now ur coinops is perfect only missing daphne but i am sure that one day u will surprise us and find a way to launch dragons lair in coinops thank you so much keep up the good work.

what psx games should it run carlo3do please....im only running tekken 3 at present as I dont know what games run and what suits coinops its sounds like you would

hi B P I own a trusty board xbox and 95% of the psx games run perfectly but i dont know about a retail xbox its bean a wile sinse i used 1 for emulating psx

games cause i discovered that all the games that dident run on retail xbox run on a trusty board if u enable the cpu interpreter witch the normal xbox dont handle anyway as for the list i would like to help and prepare a list for you but basicly its all the perfect arcade port and all the jap shouter i will get back to you tack care

For C64 Shadow of the Beast is pretty much an essential choice, or maybe that's just cos I love that version of it, that sid chip put out a better tune than the Amiga version did for bits of it
