The TG16 came out before the Genesis and SNES but after the NES and Master System. It was a really good system at the time but it didn't catch on. There really are some great games on this machine .

If you have CoinOPS reignite Showcase just sort by type and look at topdown shooters or horizontal shooters...all the games from this thread are in it......posted by me and posted by others and many many more, all 100 percent going and sorted out properly...all from peoples recommendations over years

(from what ive read I dont think you have showcase as it has all the games you asked for all running 100percent and could look for yourself quickly at all of them sorted for you with videos so you dont even have to play them :) )

ad20 PM fumanchu for the special surpirise, add it to CoinOPS and rescan your games :) you will find alot of extra sidesroller shooter and other top stuff that he and others recommended :)

whoa, that's really quite old. man

thx for the offer but the oldest system i actively play are those arcade ones i think

on my xbox, i have currently following systems:

MAME via CoinOps

NeoGeoOps via Final Burn Legends

NES via Madnafe-NES

SNES via sNESxbox or how it's called

Sega Megadrive via neoGenesis

Play-Station1 via pcsxbox

n64 via surreal64

and the xbox originals

that's all system i'm familiar with, older ones might give the kick to real hardcore nostalgia-fans but i'm fine with the late 80s and 90s generally

i've already made great success with your help regarding FBL and coinops, so any side scrolling shooter you can recommend me for those systems is much appreciated

Gates of Thunder and Lords of Thunder are two of the greatest shooters ever made. I would also reccomend ZsnexBox for the majority of SNES games.
