neoryu Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 seXBOX, try going into the emulator Options, then select 'Rebuild Game List' That should make your changes to your roms folder take effect. I hope this works for you.
NEIL222 Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 (edited) Decided to remove some roms I disliked from the rom folder of FBA to save some space on my HD. Unfortunately after doing this most of my Capcom roms (street fighter / vampire saviour.. ) will no longer launch (white background - can't find rom etc.).Haven't deleted any Capcom roms - they're all still where they should be and were all working before my ill advised tidy up.Has anyone any ideas as to what's gone wrong? Is there a *.zip file like neo.zip specifically for Capcom games that I may have deleted from the roms folder?Currently tearing my already thinning hair out!Any help would be much appreciated. Not sure if this will help, but did you "refresh" your game list after deleting some games? edit: Must have been typing at the same time as Neoryu...lol. Edited December 17, 2009 by NEIL222
seXBOX Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Yes tried refreshing to no avail.Since my previous post i've:Ended up doing a fresh install of Final Burn Legends - without changing anything I just dropped 360 roms i want to keep into the rom folder.FTP'd to xbox - let it build the games list, but still no luck with Capcom (everything else is fine). As it's a fresh install problem has to be with a missing zip file in roms folder - especially as it was working when I had 2050 roms?I've just tried deleting the babe folders in C: in case this held any old info - but again to no avail!
NEIL222 Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Capcom games don't need a special rom to load like Neo Geo ones do.Also the "babe" save you are refering to is for CoinOPS, not Final Burn Legends.Go through your MSDASH and delete your save for Final Burn Legends in there. Then try again after a reboot.

You need to post more information. 1) Do they not show up in the list after rebuilding or do they fail to start?2) Did you edit the Path.ini?3) Are all the ROMs in one folder?4) If you edited the Path.ini, you can't split parent ROMs from clones. Parents need to be in the same folder as the clones and vice versa. For example, mvsc.zip must be in the same folder as mvscu.zip if you want the mvscu.zip to show up in the ROMs list or work.5) Are you 100% positive there are actual capcom games in the ROMs folder? A fresh install or deleting your save has nothing to do with what shows up in the ROMs list.
dballs Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 anyone have or heard of a complete (or close to complete) set of screen shots or even videos for fbl?
sbpaabck Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 anyone have or heard of a complete (or close to complete) set of screen shots or even videos for fbl? reply pasted from my answer in xbox scene: I have found a pack for mame title screens, it seems to cover most if not all games. Originally from pleasuredome as the readme sez. 5,952 title screens. Not bad really smile.gif Google this: "mame titles 0.134 torrent" if you did it right you will get the page as the first hit, top of the list! Once you have all the screenshots, drop then in your FBL artwork folder. IMPORTANT: Put the first 4088 screenshots in the "artwork/shots 1" folder and the rest in "artwork/shots 2" as the xbox has a max files in folder of 4089 files (there is already a file in each folder y'see.) Now if you want dual pane titles and videos you need to get your hands on a decent video pack. I used the one from coinops showcase and dropped that into the video folder in FBL. However there is only 830-odd videos so only a few will show with videos (dual pane) but hey thats better than nowt. If anyone knows where to get a massive mame video pack hit us up! Asked resx if he knew of any but unfortunately he is leaving mame till last sad.gif
nes6502 Posted December 18, 2009 Author Posted December 18, 2009 IMPORTANT: Put the first 4088 screenshots in the "artwork/shots 1" folder and the rest in "artwork/shots 2" as the xbox has a max files in folder of 4089 files (there is already a file in each folder y'see.) Totally unnecessary. The first post has the answer: An easy way to get only screenshots that Final Burn Legendssupports is to download a complete MAME screenshot set. Put thescreenshot.bat and FBA folder (from the tools folder) in that folder.Run the screenshot.bat file. It will copy any screenshots that FinalBurn Legends supports to the FBA folder. Then copy those screenshots tothe Xbox.
dballs Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 thanks. i was hoping for action shots instead of titles. any leads on that?
(XBOX) Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 (edited) you can always get the screenshots from FbaPro or CoinOps and run them through the app that Nes is talkin about, and can someone please direct me to the site where you can order those Hq videos on dvd the ones B.P used for coinops, I forgot the name of the site if its "emumovies" where the hell do you order the disc from? Edit:also try here,http://www.emu-france.com/?page=fichiers&idMachine=68go the bottom where it says "preview pack in game shots" Edited December 19, 2009 by (XBOX)
