I just recently got a Dreamcast for my b-day. This system is so awesome is it not??? This is like arcade at home, its great :P

Of course the first game and only game I have right now is Marvel vs Capcom 2. I love how the games are so cheap too :D But I'm sad because the stores in our area are getting rid of all their dreamcast stuff by Christmas. I gotta start a giant collection soon or I'll have to buy them online. Controllers only cost $3.99 so I'll be buying a few more :(

Congrats man.

I bought mine for $25 (you heard me) and am pretty happy with it. My Berserk is gonna arrive soon (got shipped yesterday) and I can't wait to see what happened after the anime.

thats where Direct Connect comes in. Just buy a boot disk for your dreamcast, join us in emulation hubs, download dreamcast games, burn em, and play em on your dreamcast.

Yea, mine was $25 as well :( so no Mod chip is necessary for Dreamcast?

I bought mine for $30 @ eBGames.. it was a great deal. Also of course it was used, but who cares. :P

I bought mine for 200 BUCKS w00t!!! :( But it is still my favorite console. Until SNKP hits the PS2 with all there upcoming releases. Now all I need is some SF3, SFAlpha, and some PowerStone and PS2 is the new champion.

Poor Sega, they shouldn't have gone out of business :P People love Dreamcast :( I think there timing with releasing it was bad, but its a great company. Great games.

Mine was used too but it works flawlessly and thats all that matters :P.

Rag: you don't need a chip but you do need a boot disc (free and easy to find on the net) if the game you downloaded isn't a self-boot, if it is then just use it like you would an original.

And personally I believe that people will remember the DC for a far far longer time than the current consoles, b/c of all its uses and the kind of quality of games on it.

Hey dudes, is it true that using backups/non-original disks screws up your GD-Rom lense?
