BlackKnight Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Vader = RedRROD = Red That is connection enough to justify him being in the 360 version, even if it's not a connection they'd necessarily want to advertise. Either way we got stiffed hard out of Vader... there is no other way to look at it.
Devia Eleven Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 The 360 has a bigger and much deeper game library. The 360 does have the ability to allow for the use backups. Flashing is easy with a compatible SATA chipset. It also has massive overheating problems. The airflow design does not distribute heat evenly between the GPU and CPU. There are modifications that can be made to the console to provide for better cooling. They require dissembling the console and voiding the warranty, but so does flashing. If you purchase a 360, get it in a store that has two year in-store warranties and you know for sure does not check under the faceplate to see if the warranty sticker is still valid. Where I am none of them do. But that can vary depending on your location. If you game online Xbox Live has the market cornered. The fees are not that steep, I think around $50 a year or something. You may get lucky and get a console that does not die.
GodPigeon Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Ehh i like my Flawless PS3, never have to open it.
Wizard Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Vader or Boba Fett No excusesI see your Boba Fett and raise you a Han Solo and Admiral Ackbar.
emwearz Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 My major dislike about the 360 (as it was when I had my original xbox) is that too many of it 'high profile' and "exclusive" games are ported to the PC, now I have a decent PC so as long as they keep porting games like Gears Of War, I dont have much need for it. Now on a big positive, is the fact for the power the box has, it is really cheap, the arcade pack is cheaper then the Wii in many stores down here, and its in high stock.
Bambi Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 You can play media off a thumb drive. Or at least I think you can?? I'm sure I have... Actually it can do that, I plug my cell phone into the 360 the once, in fact it can read off any USB memory device as long as it formatted as FAT32, just make sure the movie files are no bigger then 4GB. I didn't say it wouldn't play files from a thumb drive, I said it won't let me copy to the 360 from a thumb drive. I've plugged my cell and PSP into it and they both play mp3's or avi's.
Tynvar Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Darn my post was lost. Like: The Xbox 360s power. Dislike: No worthy RPGs, too many FPS, it's Microsoft.
Wizard Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 The 360 doesn't have too many FPS games. In fact a majority of 360 games are adventure games from the 3rd person. It's just the FPS games are usually the big thing.
Devia Eleven Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 The 360 does not have many exclusive FPS, but the few they have are very popular games.
