Inky Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I have beaten a lot of games in my day but I will say I am like gamecop too. if a game isn't fun anymore I will not force myself to finish it. I have no problem walking away from a game forever if the first few hours are not fun. and the same goes for a game I am 70-90% complete with, many times developers will run out of steam at the end and the game becomes stupid/boring/artificially hard/ect. I won't have it. I've been playing games long enough to know when a game isn't my type of thing.
L.S.D Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I can't remember. But i completed most games that I played except GTAIII and Mario series.

OverlordMondo Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I'll join the lazy gamers club. That's not to say I haven't finished a lot of things, I'm certainly not going to list them off, but compared to the number of games I've started playing and stopped... I've probably finished less than 40% of them.
Wishdokta Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Haha, honestly would be fun to see the whole list. I'll try later.
basilbr Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I have completed a fair few games, but the first I ever completed was Count Duckula on the Spectrum +2. Its strange thinking back, how much harder those 8-bit home computer games were compared to modern titles.

I never played a code based mega man again until emulation and savestates hahah

L.S.D Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Damn, I remember there is one game I can't complete. The Lost Viking for PC/SNES. I'm stuck at the final level trying to fry that big last boss to no avail.
Smilee Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I don't consider beating a game until I've beaten it at it's hardest difficulty (if there are such settings). I've beaten a few, but not as much as you guys have.
Wizard Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 A lot of games. Too much to list, I can say that I beat MGS on all difficulties, MGS2 on all difficulties, got every single item and 100% on FF7, FF9, FF10/10-2, FF12, Chrono Trigger, beaten FF Tactics (with bonus Cloud) and Tactics Advance (65% Complete), beaten FF1-2-3-4-5-6 remakes, beaten Front Mission SNES (still working on the DS side missions), Persona 2-Eternal Punishment and Persona 3 (not FES). I only remember mostly all those, because those are some mad achievements for me, especially beating 7 with getting everything, including 2 golden chocobos (!) in 4 days because I was sick with the flu.

Nice. Couldn't focus on 100% in FF 7. 'The 2 Weapons' gave me too much frustration. But having Knights of the Round in ones pocket was a nice candy for sure . // edit:Thinking these days of replaying FF 8. This Trading Card game is a drug!

I've gone through this experience multiple times, especially when I use to have a printer. My mother always tries to clean up my personal area of games and technology, and she doesn't know what I want and need and just throws away things that she thinks is worthless. How would she like it, if I went into her room and cleaned up, and just threw all of her work papers away and rearranged items that she needed? Yeah
