Krosigrim Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 On that note, I once got a "DE" error or something when trying to connect to a server. Experiment44 also got this error while trying to connect to Cinders server, so I had him remove the de.int and the de.u files. Teck64 says something about adding the ; in the .ini, but all I did was remove these two- de.int and de.u and it works fine. Well the matches are still touch and go. Usually those who fight, bring it up in IRC. We need more momentum, so perhaps more publicity will work. Cinder has all game modes set up with a voter in place. So you have a chance to play a particular map to your liking. We are having people join from all skill levels, so please join us, and don't worry about being slaughtered. It happens... And besides, how else do you expect to get any better. Just don't go punching holes in your walls. JOIN US

I deleted the de.int and de.u files mentioned so i dunno.Well I never had to move the files before, but when I connected to Reapermans server a month or so ago, it said "de" error or something to that extent. I don't know about it not connecting.... When connecting to Cinders server, I gotta wait a few seconds, sometimes half a minuite. In any event, I hope to see you there soon.

Slow connections and such. I thought it was just me, but now I cant connect to his server, or join IRC through UT either.....

Maybe next weekend, just dont quit on me..................I still have to download load it, i mean find it under my bed.
Exp44 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Once you delete the 'de' files, the game should dl them from Cindr's server. After that, just make sure you have BP4, and the other map packs listed on the front page. Then you should be good to go.

Well Cinder shot off a redeemer and it went right by me... EM was laughing her ass off, I should have taken a screen shot. Well that night was fun. Last night, I joined a server, to test my skills as we have been playing alittle in Cinders server.... I was doing alright... at first. Then some experienced UT guys showed up, and destroyed me... over and over. So don't get frustrated Inky, as we are not as good as those who destroyed me. So yea... we need more people! we had... 5 last time at the highpoint. I will try to get a non conflicting time where everyone who is interested can play. So where do we stand... Rips don't work?
Lucandrake Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I would play more often guys but due to certain circumstances I doubt I can play for more then a week until summer vacation for the remainder of my school year. Also, for those of you wondering, my school accepted me back under contract, and I now have nightschool , before breaking my life more then it is, I'll stay away from teh machines till I'm cool.

How is UT2k3 better than 2k4 though? I've never in my life heard that one before.

What was the final score? 5-3 or 5-4?I know I made off with your flag right through the middle of the rest of you duking it out getting back to base with only 17 health left, and Inky finally nailed you and made you drop the flag. I yelled "IT'S OVER!!" as I jumped on the pedestal. lol
