Elazul Yagami Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 some right, some wrong, mooney you're right on number 5 (damn you're good) and cinder, you're right on 1 and 2.
ken_cinder Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Is #3 Donkey Kong III? Not isometric. Isometric is like "top-down", usually on a bit of an angle to the playfield. I really shouldn't have answered Marble Madness, as it's not quite Isometric by definition. If it's not 100% Isometric, I'm going to guess "Zen: Intergalactic Ninja"

ken_cinder Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Doh! Oops. I meant to give my answer to #4 then. And I change it anyway, because I'm 100% sure now. #4: Snake Rattle 'n Roll!
Shibathedog Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 hey overlord mondo, i cant remember the title of that game where you go into the body, but i used to own it on Sega CD, if i remember right it was actually supposed to be the presidents body and you had to kill a virus he had or something like that. I used to play it alot back it the day it was pretty cool because i think for the background it had like a video playing which was impressive back then.

(lolz) 5: This is a true matter of opinion. Involving a "computer" by dictionary definition? That would be "Spacewar" in 1961.
Robert Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Pong was probably the first actual "Game" you could buy in the shop and just plug it into your TV, and simply switch it on and play it. But computer languages have been around a lot longer, and, no doubt many games would have been written from the 1940's onwards. Given the lack of graphics in those days, the output device being a teletype printer, the games therefore would all have been text.
