NeuronMaster Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 I am willing to bet that you could get all (read: most) of those parts from another site for a cheaper price. But it's your money, not mine.

Shibathedog Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 I would actually use that case, and im usually extremely picky about cases (so many of them try to look extreme or whatever and end up looking corny and stupid as hell) Did you order it already? Theres a few upgrades i would recommend that wont make that big of a difference in price. and LG Burners arent bad, I'm an NEC fan myself but LG/Samsung would probably be my second choice, Plextors are too overpriced.
cody56 Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Jordan, when this computer gets to your house I'm going to steal it and run all the way back home. Hahahaha
Shibathedog Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 BTW instead of buying a new video card later on, what if you got another one of those and ran them in SLI? (I dont remember if your mobo supported SLI or what the benchmarks are for those cards so you should look it up, its probably cheaper)

ken_cinder Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Man.....I haven't even spent $700 on mine yet, and as soon as my Radeon x1650 Pro gets here, I'll be up and running. If you spent that, I'm either scared of what my finished setup will cost or bewildered at how much you spent. Edit: I just went back and read, and the only thing I won't be spending coin on is a monitor and a DVD burner. I'm bewildered.
Gryph Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Hmm...that's pretty damn expensive. I'll check out all the parts in the morning when I have some time and see if I can price a similar PC for cheaper.

Alpha Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 I don't know about the brand of ram you're getting. My best experiences have been with Corsair and Kingston. I don't know anything about G.SKILL ... Instead of paying so much for a keyboard and mouse ... I would upgrade your graphics card to a 7900GT. My experiences with the 7600GT were disappointing (probably only b/c the brand eVGA sucks). Also, make sure you got some excellent cooling in that PC. I hope you also know how to build it yourself. Otherwise, I'd recommend you use one of the online computer builders.
DropDeadEd Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Core 2 Duo Extreme would be the best option for processor.
F2bnp Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Well I will be saving my money and in 1 year I will buy a new PC.Currently I have a Low end PC with an P4 2.8,1 gb ram 333 mhz and my 7600 gs in AGP.
