emwearz Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 (edited) There is one game that in my mind has always stood out as the greatest, no it doesn't have mega poly counts, its not even 3D, no voice acting, but theres no game more perfect if you Adventure gamer in the 90's you know you love this classic The Secret Of Monkey Island. Its utter perfection to me then and still is one of the greatest games I have ever played, and still play on a bi-yearly basis. A closed second is Final Fantasy VIII, being the only real rpg that has 'pulled me into its world', I enjoy many RPG's none have ever managed to do this to the effect that FF8 did. BlackKnight Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 emwearz, this is a thread for N64 games. 1080snowboarding, I appreciate your enthusiasm but please stop resurrecting old threads.
emwearz Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 Woops, completely missed that, my bad. (Need to pay more attention when viewing the 'Last 8 Posts' feature). My fav N64 title would have to be Mario Kart 64, the amount of hours me and my friends put into that in 4 way multilayer is huge. Classic Title.
Narutomon Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 my best game for NT64 is: Jet Force Gemini - the best game ever! Believe it!!!
Tynvar Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Banjo Kazooie It's fun. Good graphics. Funny acts. And the intro song is awesome.
Tynvar Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Mario 64 is the best one It was a good game, I was very impressed the first time I saw it. I mentioned Banjo Kazooie because everyone had mentioned all the good ones. But like many said Zelda was the best one. When I saw Ocarina of Time for the first time I never saw games the same way. We should make a moments thread, things you remember about gaming and how you felt at that time.
Shibathedog Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Probably either Goldeneye or Silicon Valley. Although there really are a TON of great games on the N64, especially for multiplayer. (PSX wasn't crap in my opinion)
