Weirdy Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Hey WIerdy! LEt's say you caught your son(15) watching hentai (anime porn), would you say, "aw it's just normal for your age to wanna see this"?THe whole pacifying porn addiction is the reason sickos like rapists exist. If I were to catch my fifteen year old son watching hentai, I would tell him only to fap behind a closed door. After all, if he's going at it in the restroom (if it happend to be the only restroom in the whole place), then that would be an inconvenience. Furthermore, I would be mad if his habit became intrusive. For ex, if he's got bad grades. Pacifying porn addiction is the reason sickos exist? Kinda. I mean, porn is made for you to either masturbate to or for couples to watch while they're going at it. But if there is no porn and prostitution is illegal, what options does a single guy have when he's tired of using his imagination? I mean, the kind of single guy who would either be too busy or unwilling to get into a relationship just to flock. It's not like one-night-stands happen all of the time either. I am definitely not saying that I condone the acts of sickos, but I think there would be a drop in sex crimes if prostitution was legalized here in the U.S (while statutory rape laws are intact). (Hell, I would love to go down to a nearby brothel and get some action myself right now, but there aren't any because prostitution is illegal. I think I would definitely get rid of my porn if I were able to pay for sex too.) For instance, many street hookers are abused and raped, but reports are not filed because they would immediately be arrested for soliciting sex. If it is legalized, they would be able to work in an institutionalized environment and they would have police protection like other females professions (and they'd be clean). Btw Shoma, what's with the anti-porn sentiment? With all of the spelling errors and YOSH-AH, etc I think you could use a little self-relief.

Shoma Posted March 11, 2007 Author Posted March 11, 2007 (edited) LOL! BRavo! I have realized my extreme mindset on the affects of porn. "-Btw Shoma, what's with the anti-porn sentiment? With all of the spelling errors and YOSH-AH, etc I think you could use a little self-relief.-" - Wierdy Perhaps the word "stress" isnt the right word, sexual tension is more understandable. DOnt take my words as signs of iggnorance just wanting to hear how some would defend. Maybe i do need to watch...porn more? I dabbled into it before and i'm the 5% of the guys (in my old High School) who actually held doors for girls^^.Lol, How mind-tingling: ALthough can we at least agree that it DOES have negative qualties? And if not checked can cause problems? Or is it just all good and no wrong? Edited March 11, 2007 by Shoma
Weirdy Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Anything can be dangerous if consumed/used/handled/done in excess. Alcohol can turn you into an alcoholic, pot can turn you into a nutcase, caffeine and wanking can bore you, and everybody knows what happens with opium. Don't take my word for it though. Even the Mayans believed that everything should be done in moderation. Else, it will consume you; metaphorically, you will have been attacked by a beast or evil spirit.
Ayur Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Well, sure. If you're always masturbating, that's just idiotic. But again, I seriously disagree with any connection of porn to psychopaths and the like.
Wizard Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Me and my ex watched porn together, then made some, that count?
Shoma Posted March 11, 2007 Author Posted March 11, 2007 (edited) Never done that.... It sounds liike it would feel a lil awkward..."Hey babe, you see right there, right there! Aw man! We need to try that. Yeah that chick is hot...I mean....um...." I dont know what would we say afterwards, lol. Edited March 11, 2007 by Shoma
ken_cinder Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Yeah, and you can get back to us in 10 years when you're older and realize that porn doesn't create sickos. My wife and I watch porn together all the time, it's not akward or wierd. Sure, there are porn addicts that develop twisted thoughts of what sex should be, but their warped little minds were warped beforehand.
Elazul Yagami Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Porn warps your perceptions of sexual intimacy and power relations, reducing the likelihood that you will ever be satisfied by a wholesome, monogamous marital relationship. I guess it all depends whether that matters to you or society at large at all. I find it somewhat depressing but it's too late to do anything about that now. perfectly said in my opinion really. see the thing people don't notice, is for example, i'm not against drug use, you wanna do drugs, go ahead, but personally, i don't do alcohol or drugs for one main reason; when you're high or drunk, you're feeling AMAZINGLY good.then when you're sober, even if there's nothing to depress you, you end up depressed because you don't feel as euphoric as you did when you were high or drunk.so real life becomes more or less a pain in the ass, because you're not high or drunk. same works for porn.
Private Biscuit Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 when you're high or drunk, you're feeling AMAZINGLY good.then when you're sober, even if there's nothing to depress you, you end up depressed because you don't feel as euphoric as you did when you were high or drunk.so real life becomes more or less a pain in the ass, because you're not high or drunk. same works for porn. Quoted for truth.
Elazul Yagami Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 i forgot to add something; see the thing people don't notice, is for example, i'm not against drug use, you wanna do drugs, go ahead, but personally, i don't do alcohol or drugs for one main reason; when you're high or drunk, you're feeling AMAZINGLY good.then when you're sober, even if there's nothing to depress you, you end up depressed because you don't feel as euphoric as you did when you were high or drunk.so real life becomes more or less a pain in the ass, because you're not high or drunk.and it makes you less willing to deal with the responsibilities and crap that hafta do with everyday living... henceforth you end up depressed, the opposite of what they're supposed to do. same works for porn. since porn is a quick and easy release, that requires no more of you than to download it, or buy it or rent it or borrow it or something, you end up less willing to put any effort into a real relationship because of the bullshit it naturally entails.

Darnet! Im gonna write a poem inspired from your wise words^^.ANyone can drink a few sips and not become completly influenced. Yet if a man is to drink the whole bottle in a few gulps he is demanding to be endowed in it's power. ARe you willing to say you dont watch such things in order to "release" stress? No one pays attention to affects of the sub-coucious mind. ALmost like types of music; rather instead of you acting bluntly upon the music immediately, it slowly leaves a tiny scar...but a deep one. Elazul Yagami Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 no actually i don't.i quit watching porn AND jacking off over 4 years ago. and i quit as a matter of willpower.... the first few months were hell.but i managed by keeping myself busy.and i didn't do it for a religious reason or any thing like that. personally i believe we cannot allow our bodies urges to control our mind, rather it should be the other way around.
