Why heatsinks are needed

Oh man, that's just insane. Not only did it explode, but it burned through the flocking table (if I saw that correctly).

 

I've seen lots of these "what happens when you remove heatsink" movies, but this takes the win. No contest.

i dont bel;ive you=D thats what my brother told me to do when i tried opening it and he told me to close it!!!...

 

i think i know what you're talking about though :clapping: and well poor computers...i wish i had one of my own and they go off exploding them!!!...meh :clapping:

I told her to close it because the site apparently started to give pop ups to the computer...., also the movie doesn't load for me for some reason.

Please teach her to use Firefox with Adblock Plus.

Reeks of staged with a firecracker. Wanna tell me why theres no residual damage to the socket? The processor also wouldn't "explode", it would crack from heat stress and cease to operate and when you remove it from the socket it would crumble. I know this first hand, my Thunderbird cooked itself.
