Elazul Yagami Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Ds's advantage over psp was games right? and the psp advantage over ds was the multimedia capabilities. well, this changes things : Ds MAX
Nusumenai Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Ds's advantage over psp was games right? and the psp advantage over ds was the multimedia capabilities. well, this changes things : Ds MAX<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not only that, but homebrews and junk already run on the DS I think.
ken_cinder Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Going to retail for £129.....or a tiny $225 USD!!! Oh yeah, it's gonna change things when you can buy a damn PSP for less, and wind up having BOTH machines. Sure it's got a 4GB drive, but big deal.......that price is too steep for an ADDON.FLOP! FLOP! FLOP! FLOP!
Wizard Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Datel sells overpriced crap all the time. Why should I care this time?
Ryuken Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 would people really but this?? it cost so much and the ds screen is not as good as the PSP. so even if i had a ds i wouldn't buy this
Agozer Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 That thing is by no stretch of imagination a PSP killer.
Elazul Yagami Posted February 14, 2006 Author Posted February 14, 2006 hey, someone is bound to come up with a less expensive version of it.
solidius23 Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 i love it when i come on here and cinders says the exact thing i think the conversion rate in dollars will get u a nice PSP pack in some stores and def on ebay.
Lucandrake Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 This costs to much, I rather waste all that money on actuall games, if not an ipod, or an mp3 player that's worth it.
Elazul Yagami Posted February 14, 2006 Author Posted February 14, 2006 games in uk40 british pounds games in usa 50-60 us dollars it's a safe bet that it'll probably be around 150 dollars. wasn't the ds 150 dollars cheaper than the psp?
Lucandrake Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 250 - 130 = 170 $170 cheaper then the psp.
BlackKnight Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I dunno... still doesnt make the DS look cool or have arcade perfect ports of SFA3...
Nusumenai Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I dunno... still doesnt make the DS look cool or have arcade perfect ports of SFA3...<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Right, all it has now is it's vast array of original and innovative games...
Lucandrake Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 While SFA3 is a classic (that just one a psp spot in my school during lunch, about 10 kids just playing sfa3 in a little corner). DS is bringing in new games to the market. I'm pretty sure a mom looking for a fun present for her son would rather get the cheap DS and a Nintendogs then a $250 PSP with SFA3 (which has violence).
BlackKnight Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Right, all it has now is it's vast array of original and innovative games... Such as..? At this point in my life I know what I like, and pet sims along with other quirky games arent something Im even going to waste my time with. Personally Id rather have a system that can handle proven games that I wouldnt mind playing for yet another 10 years, rather than new *original* experimental crap that has nothing going for it apart from the fact that its experimental and different. Sorry DS.. I gave you a chance and you disappointed me. PSP ftw so to speak.
