The forum I used said that the htmlhelp files were needed even if you didn't want to make a help file.

 

Anyway, the compile of mame32 was a success.

I've joined the ranks of the elite! (haha)

 

The next thing is to learn something of the programming language used. I expect the net would have plenty of resources; which ones do you think are the best?

Mame works on win95 again! They must have fixed something at some stage. Mame32 doesn't work though.

 

There are 2 mods I want to do on mame32.

 

1. Make it work on win95

2. Add a "Not Available" display option, so you can see what sets you're missing. Like what Kawaks has.

I've always wondered

 

why is that?

 

is it so they don't make it seem like you're supposed to go out and illegally collect roms?
