This isn't really a gift, more like, "here, buy it you stupid SF consumer."

yep a gift would be "here is sf3, fre of charge!"

suvo: yeah I get bored easy lately, I think I am getting jaded on the whole video game scene.

You are married. You are supposed to accompany your wife and son,

not planting yourself in front of TV playing games

Is having a family really such a good excuse for completely stop playing? Come on. Family time and gaming time are two separate things, and with a little thought, those two go well together.

No, I mean normally married gamers tend to lost interest

in games due to more commitment to the family.

I did not mean Inky ignore his family. Heck, we all know how much he cherishes his family :)

I have a non-gamer gf too and it start to eat into my gaming time since i have to give more time to her. Not that I am complaining now :)

Sweet. My bro has a PSP I'll tell him to pick it up when it is released :)

I'm all about the DS though. I love that thing. :)

PSP has been getting good reviews all around over here, not to mention the games themselves (WipeOut Pure, LUMINES, Ridge Racer). Great. The price is still an obstacle for many though.

you have some serious skills kdash. my Gf hated games but didnt really mind though

Start off slow with the cutesy stuff(TSS ftw) or direct them with the cute female character in X game, SCII is a good start since it's noob friendly and offers cute fighting females (Cassy, Talim, Xianghua) and cheap and easy to use characters (Raphael 6BBB, christ), then gradually make your way to any desired genre.

Edit: Chicks love Nintendogs. It's true.

Puzzle games sell like hotcakes to the girls... at least to the ones I know.

My sister loves Twinkle Star Spirits. I don't blame her, besides being overly colourful and massivly cute, it's terribly addictive and simple.

Yeah, that games has excellent potential. Add in Tetris Attack and the different Puyo Puyos too.
