Robert Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 That one doesn't work in mame 0.90 I don't know if it's been fixed since then You need the megatech.zip bios as well. Since it doesn't work, I cannot say if it's the same game.
Agozer Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 James honestly, sometimes you just don't make much sense. Why ?Is it that hard to work out that the roms do not belong to Mame ( Not owned by Mame ). My reply was to this ok, so only the Mame rom will work, right?Yes, I know. And you should also know that people use the term 'MAME rom' quite loosely.
BritneysPAIRS Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Im sorry to tell you this but in mame its set to not working But the clones all work fine and you wont notice the diff. Xbox mame or PC mame plays it sweet (you will need the full rom plus the clone, and click on clone to play)
L.S.D Posted August 14, 2005 Author Posted August 14, 2005 Wow, and the rom site only have the mt_mwalk.zip rom.which is 366kb. So, what files must I find in order to play it on MAME? (And I never use MAME before except for KOF2003 only:P)
Robert Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Name for the game in Mame is Micheal Jackson's MoonwalkerMoonwalker rom sets are mwalk mwalkblmwalkjmwalku What James said. mwalk.zip, mwalkbl.zip etc

All sets works my rom is mt_mwalk.zip.Will this work? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol thats the megatech one go find the ones I suggested.
James Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Not on Xbox its 0.84 rom set <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Well that does not count since its not an offical Mame build. And is old now.
L.S.D Posted August 16, 2005 Author Posted August 16, 2005 Man, i just try out this game to relieve my childhood memory. Is the graphic really that bad? i remember this game to be so good, and the sound is great. The rom is so mundane
Agozer Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 The rom is so mundane heh, when you were a kid, every game back then had a strange appeal... That appeal might be gone now that you are older.
James Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 There is a known sound issue, But I did not see any GFX problems
Lucandrake Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 (edited) Why not just play the Genesis version I haven't played the arcade version, but the genesis version was fun and I enjoyed it the times I played it Edited August 17, 2005 by Drake
L.S.D Posted August 17, 2005 Author Posted August 17, 2005 I remember the sound to be very crisp. Must be the sound from the arcade sound way better. And the graphics seems a little blurry. Or is it my laptop
Z-Neo Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 (edited) Why not just play the Genesis version I haven't played the arcade version, but the genesis version was fun and I enjoyed it the times I played it<{POST_SNAPBACK}> The genesis version is same premise, but way different graphically. The arcade version is done from an isometric standpoint, and the sound is alot better. Edited August 17, 2005 by Z-Neo
Superman Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 (edited) The megatech version is actually identical to the genesis/megadrive version, only it's arcade based. Look for the zip James mentioned for the true arcade version. Edited August 18, 2005 by Superman
