Gryph Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 I think Jessica Alba was a good choice for Nancy...minus the no nudity part.
Sturmvogel Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 (edited) I think Jessica Alba was a good choice for Nancy...minus the no nudity part.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've been watching Jessica Alba for a long time now...ever since her "Dark Angel" days. I think these words by a top reviewer paint the picture. Alba struck me as excruciatingly beautiful on the one hand, but not terribly talented as an actress on the other, with a flat, uninflected delivery and not as much screen presence. Even so I'll still probably see Sin City. Not even Jessica Alba could kill a movie like this. Edited March 16, 2005 by Sturmvogel
BurnerAzR Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Man that movies look so good. Been seeing the comercial for it all this week. Finnaly something differnt worth my movie money.
Prican25 Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 movie does look good and the trailer is up on apple.com if you want better quality without the ign insider crap
Gryph Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 The website is up and pretty cool if you don't know much about Sin City since they introduce most of the characters. Plus they have some Flash games there so Sturm you might like that.

My ps2 is literally collecting dust under the tv. I'm really picky in what I play though...even flash games. But I'll be sure to check it out. Well this spring/summer movie season is going to be better than last me thinks. Stars Wars, Sin City...and I'm sure many more blockbusters are around the corner. Edited March 17, 2005 by Sturmvogel
Gryph Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 This summer should be interesting with War of the Worlds, Star Wars Episode 3 (I might go see it) and Batman Begins. That's not to mention the ones that I've forgotten.
Gryph Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I take it that Ring 2 is already out over there?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Comes out here tomorrow if I'm not mistaken.
Agozer Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I take it that Ring 2 is already out over there?Comes out here tomorrow if I'm not mistaken.Wow, same here.
Wizard Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 WAR OF THE WORLDS. Aww yeaaah. Ring 2 looks interesting. Might go see sin city on release day.
Gryph Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I'm going to try to see Sin City on release day but I might be busy on the road or something. Goddammit.
Bob Jahovic Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Im looking forward to Sin City and Batman Begins Batman Begins looks like they've finally managed to make a decent Batman movie. George Clooney and Val Kilmer flocked it up War of the Worlds looks sweet, but with Spielberg we've go a 50-50 chance of it being good. It will either be really good or really bad.
Agozer Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 I think I won't go see the Ring 2 in theaters, since the first one was a scarring experience.
Wizard Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 I tink I won't go see the Ring 2 in theaters, since the first one was a scarring experience.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I "screened" it from my "theater."
