You can't tell if the war between the Shinigami and the Bountau is officially started now, right? Also, does filler count as anything that doesn't have to do with the current main storyline, or anything that is not mentioned in the manga? I mean, if Ichigo kills that head vampire guy, will it count as a filler?

If ichigo kills the head vampire guy, it will probaly, if the fillers stop, not being mentioned at all when the main storyline comes back up. Bleach movie which should be released near the end of this year, will start right after the S.S arc. Or should if it's following the manga story line ^.^.
