Agozer Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 What is the actual difference between Garou: Mark of the Wolves (Set 1) and (Set 2)?
Gryph Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 what are u talking about?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> There are different sets of Garou. Is Set 2 the same thing as Alternate Set in Kawaks? I see garou, garoun, garouo, and garoup. Is garouo the Set 2?
L.S.D Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 I tot it has to do with decrypted and encrypted.Anyway, I have the original Garou.zip file which I get from K'Dash.Size is 76.6MB. I used to have the 36++MB file but the ending always flocked up and the words all jumbled up

iq_132 Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 well, he's the diffs for the prototype. The prototype version has a white background at the title screen instead a blue background on the final version. It has also a graphic bug on the Terry Bogard stage during the second round at the extreme right.
Xeon Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 What is the actual difference between Garou: Mark of the Wolves (Set 1) and (Set 2)?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> the differences lies in the P ROMs garou - the encrypted setgaroun - same as encrypted set but uses decrypted C ROMsgarouo (set 2) - uses another set of P ROMs but everything else is the same as the encrypted setgaroup - the prototype set, playable in NRX. the set 1 is basically the original encrypted set

BTW, do you know if you beat the survival mode, you get to see the win pose of the characters?
iq_132 Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 None Well, the protections (bankswitch, bitswap, sma rom) are different, but game-play-wise, there are no diffs.
Agozer Posted January 4, 2005 Author Posted January 4, 2005 None Wow, all this talk and james slaps me in the face with the simplest of all answers. @LSD: What do you mean by these win poses exactly. You can select a win pose after beating your opponent, you know.
