Tried the Castlevania demo and liked it. Sure, too short, but the combat system is solid, and graphics and sound are awesome. High profile voice acting as well.

High profile yes, but Stewart uses weird emphasis alot. Octaves going up on things I dont think should, and it sounds odd.

The game is technical, pretty challenging. Much more challenging than Darksiders. You will die learning implementation. The combos are tight work and the game looks gorgeous.

the worst is the camera hiding enemies. I was fighting a Warg and couldn't even see it more then half the time.

If the camera is hiding a Warg that's as big as a Chevy Astrovan then there is a problem.

did u put on the snake outfit yet??

Yeah, all it is is an eye patch and bandana that does absolutely nothing special.

I think it fits. :o well, I'm the kind of person that likes to hear Patrick Stewart talk.

Not sure if I can play these generic adventure games any longer. Whether I like it or not, any adventure game coming out like Enslaved or Lords of Shadow has already been done before, I feel like I'm playing less enjoyable versions of games that game came out 5 years ago.

It's the same, repetitive stuff, you put in the game, start a new game, play, and the gameply repeats, except for cutscenes here and there. These ideas have already been executed better on the systems like the PS2.

I may be becoming less tolerant, these games aren't terrible, but are just cut from the same mold, the same person masquerading as something new and different every year.

I'll be waiting for Vanquish, even though it's basically more or less in the same category.

Oh hell yea, you hit that on the nose.

You havent heard alot either. Its just my opinion anyway. Im pretty strict when it comest to judgment, and I have a very good speaking voice. Even though, Its good to hear Stewart. He only got a small role on Oblivion.

Yea I know exactly what you mean. It will take alot of work to break new turf. To make gameplay fresh. Enslaved brings enhanced emotional content or more realistic interactions. Everything else is like something before. LoS is a bunch of different game types combined. The thing about LoS, is its challenging so I dont notice as much, but what happens when I beat it completely. It'll stay in the stack most likely, not to be played again until I forget about it for a while.

Also, I wanted to mention about each stages percentage. It's towards acquiring all items and beating it on all difficulties. I have 110% only on the first stage.

Fallout: New Vegas is pissing me off. but it's my own fault for not hard saving and relying on autosave. I was out and about in a gang outfit. fast traveled back to army camp (autosave) entire camp starts shooting (dies) loads autosave (dies) repeat. my last hard save was at the end of the tutorial......

In the process of sorta speedrunning God of War. Well, sub 5 hours would be nice.

I managed to do it to get the achievement "The Speed of Jason McDonald". Left with completing Challenge of The Gods to get platinum.

Front Mission: Evolved

I knew to be prepared to be let down, I already knew it was a 3rd person shooter and the games roots are strategy. This game sucks, even more than I prepared for. Ill save the bashing from a gameplay standpoint, this game is so bad even the options suck. They did NOT do theyre homework. If I was going to change gametype to something I never did before, Id look at all the other games like what I am going to do... learn from them.

Some of these badly done things include: no separation of vertical and horizontal sensitivity. Changing the sensitivity effects both vertical and horizontal. Changing colors is stupid too. There is no option to change all parts at once, so you have to alter each of the 4 parts separately. When there is a cut scene, the main character is holding a fist weapon, even if you equipped something else. Thats plain lazy. I noticed bad voice over work too. After the 2nd or 3rd level, this guy gives you the lowdown on aspects to think about when doing a loadout. It was obviously thrown together from clips, one sentence he is talking, then next thing you know he sounds as if he is yelling down a hallway, then back to normal. I thought it was 2 people talking to me at first... but no. Just a bad job there too.

I can go on and on and I havent even mentioned the gameplay. Its passable, but barely. I can pick this game to pieces. I hate to say it, but Id stay away from this one.

With my new rig, my gaming possibilities have opened evermore.

My first PC game, Lost Planet 2, I've played around 2 chapters without any lag at all. I'm really enjoying PC gaming, even though I'm using a controller.

I read that the deepest the strategy goes is basically what weapon are you going to use in each situation.

Still waiting for the new Mechwarrior reboot. Man it's going to be fucking awesome. I used to play a TON of Mechwarrior 2 back in the day. Played a little of 3 and then again a ton of 4. I'm going to make sure I get one of these when it comes out as well. I used an older version of it to play a long time ago.

It's kinda like the Ace Combat 6 controller for 360 but the 360 version didn't have the safety flap for what I always set to self destruct :(

EDIT: Oh shit! There is a new one coming out!
