lol you silly rabbits! I wasnt asking if it was a hack. Ofcourse its a hack.......the question is if it was an actual cart. Ive since seen the light and it was an actual cart for MVS system that has been sold and verified to run on MVS hardware. the only question is when will we all get to try this one out as it has naked girls with full frontal nudity! the guy that bought the cart (yeah he must be bored with his millions or something) says its a much cleaner job than the CTHD crap that was released.

There not the sort of hacks I am talking about. I agree with james. It's one thing to hack a game to make it work on an emulator, it's another thing to add crappy "features" to it and add your signature/watermark/webaddress/etc to it. I third that.

well supposedly those V roms that we create with the Encrypted set are the actual Samurai Shodown V Special Sound roms......... reason it would sound even worse is that your now using a SSV M rom to run SSVS V roms.......... I would expect it would be much worse now cuz before you were using SSV M rom and SSV V roms....... until the M1d for SSV SPECIAL is released, don't expect to enjoy the sound for this game.

If you all want to try it here it is. I rewrote the txt file (in english now). basic instructions (this includes a BAT that will merge the 4 roms it creates). From the Readme.txt samshospVpatch.zip

As I mentioned earlier there supposedly is a patch for the encrypted V roms to 1. Create 4 "decrypted" v roms then 2. merge them into 1 v rom (v1d) I ran the patch and this is the CRCs it creates (the final V rom doesnt seem to match the proper decrypted V but then again i dunno).

So whats the current status on the completion of this rom? From what I understand there is a patch to make decrypted V's (which can be merged). which leaves the m1d is this correct? were still waiting on the m1d?

gogo knows and theres nothing gogo can do about it. I would have thought by the 11th page, everyone would know wtf the deal is with the sound. The sound portion of the rom has yet to be cracked or released as a decrypted set which means everyone must deal with SSV sound in an SSV SPECIAL rom. Its like watching Kill Bill Volume 2 wth Kill Bill Volume 1 sounds. the only way to fix the problem is to get the right sound for the right movie/rom and we dont have that yet. (encrypted sound roms are useless).

Well the first set i posted brought up a Z80 sound failure error in Kawaks and the second set was combined with a compiled FBA which turned out to be just the same crap (jumbled sounds from ssv). sorry.
