  1. Gryph tried to rise up and destroy all of 1emu. Epic battling ensued. Millions died. CNN covered it 24/7. In the end, all of the mods and admins combined their powers to lock him away in the bowels of the forums and sealed his cage with the blue "Banned" bar. We barely escaped with the forum intact.

There is, however, a rumor floating around that he is biding his time, gathering followers and building his power to one day free himself and continue his brutal campaign of destruction...

  2. So I ended up buying it from DealExtreme, it's still en route, though. I have a question about the Slot-2 device. From the way it's shaped, it looks like it'll only fit into a DS Lite. I don't have a problem with buying a DS Lite, it means I can give my old DS to someone, but I sort of need to know if it'll fit.

I'll assume your question was about whether the slot-2 device is for Lite only? :P

Yes, the slot-2 device included with the M3 DS Real is for DS Lites only. It will not fit in an old, fat DS.

  3. I'm looking for a nice media player that'll run on a Mandriva based Linux distro (PCLinuxOS Gnome 2008, not 64-bit) that has fancy features like album art and will let me sync my Creative Zen 16GB. The closer it is to Windows Media Player, the better. :P Any suggestions?

  4. ...but when I patched the .nds and nds.gba files with DLDITool and 2 DLDI Patch files...

Um... does this mean you used two different DLDI files on both the .nds and the .nds.gba, or just a different one on each? :P

Actually, I'm not sure No$GBA even supports DLDI... do other games you have that require DLDI work (as in: they are more than just one .nds file and need to load files from another location)?

  5. Sega Genesis emulator for NDS.

    - Changed scheduling of M68000 and Z80.

    - Some changes in M68000 internal memory handlers.

    - YM2612 FM core mostly rewritten in ASM.

    - Some bugs in FM core fixed (Operator 1 was sometimes not considered in certain cases).

    - Fixed reset bug for FM core resulting in unstable sound for every game loaded except the 1st one.

    - Raised sample rate for FM emulation from 16KHz to 28KHz (28, because a few games can't do 32KHz)

    - Sound is completely mixed in hardware now, meaning every FM channel, PSG and DAC have their own DS sound channels.

  6. Don't take his advice for now, as it may void your warranty. I would definitely send the Wii back to Nintendo if its still under warranty. They should fix it for free, but you may have to pay for the shipping to send it to them and receive it again. It's well worth it, considering Wii's are still scarce to find these days. Good luck.

    GameCop doesn't read topics :/

My Wii wont read disks, And my warranty is out:(
  7. Everything seems to happen at once here at gbadev.org! You might not have noticed but last month we received our 5 millionth visitor on the main page! 2 weeks before that the 10 thousandth member registered on our forum....

...and today we celebrate our 8th birthday!

8 years ago today this site was started....and what a great time we've had!

    Let's reminisce...

    Full article: gbadev.org

Gbadev.org was one of the first emulation sites I started visiting regularly, so it's great to see that they're still around. Happy birthday, gbadev. :(

And, hey, before you know it, we'll be celebrating our 8th, too.

  8. What's a trustworthy site to order an M3DS Real package from? I'm not sure what the rumble cart is, but I definitely want the GBA cart with it.

The rumble cart is a cartridge that goes in the GBA slot that a few DS games use to produce a rumble effect (How's that for pointing out the obvious? :shootem: ), just like a rumble pack for N64.

As for a trustworthy site, I guess I'd say Gameyeeeah, DealExtreme, or Divineo, since Jandaman doesn't seem to have it.
