Who knows... I've heard of plans for a DreamCast emulator on PSP, but that would only work on PSP Slim. Maybe once the PSP 3000 gets cracked it'll be able to run better emulators...
Does the PSP3000 have better processing power? I thought the upgrade is only the built-in mic and the better LCD screen.
Shhhhhh. There's always hope. Maybe they'll throw in another 32MB of RAM a little while before it comes out.

'Twould be a wise idea to go to medical school and learn how to replace a liver right about now, methinks.

Never found hentai very appealing, mostly because the stuff I'd like to see is poorly drawn.

I think this'll end up being filed under "Too little too late."

My girlfriend is a huge fan of FPS/TPS games and stuff like Mortal Combat. She's damn good too, so no one can give her any grief for being a girl gamer (who, as we know, usually suck ).

This looks like just another Chinese knockoff MP4 player. "Even play the java mini game," eh? Are we even sure this is real?

Football star, movie star, murderer/robber... he has all the telltale signs of an attention whore.

+1 for running Linux.

This will most definitely lead to more homebrew and piracy. Heck, it's almost enough to make me go out and get a Wii.

Kinda feels like FFVII (Midgar) mixed with TF2... plus Bill Murray. I sense win.

This would totally allow for much weaving through (and under) traffic. Also many deaths. I want one.
Yeah, good luck with that. My bike is barely wider than I am, this thing looks to be 2/3 the width of a small car.
I'd ride circles around this thing.
But can your bike drive under a truck?

Somehow, I doubt software from the 80's will be compatible with today's software...
Unless there's a homebrew app or some such for converting these Speedscript files somewhere in the vast reaches of the internets?

Again: Don't reply unless you've actually got something to contribute, and especially don't post useless crap in old threads.
Just for the sake of closure: It is indeed possible to do a bit of wireless hacking with the DS + homebrew, but each of those homebrew apps requires files from a PC, rendering it fairly useless.

Don't reply to a year-old thread with a one word post. Read the board rules.

Well, the preorders all sold out, but damn I want one. I mean, hell, it can run the latest Ubuntu. That fact alone makes me want it.

People from Grafton are stupid. I know quite a few of 'em.

On the topic of gamer girls: my girlfriend has a PS3, DS, and Wii, plus she gets PSM and plays just about every game I like. I only love her for her bountiful game systems.
But the question is... should I get her to join up here?
(Answer: Hell no. I don't hate her THAT much)
Ha ha ... Hey is that the girl you posted about months ago? Well turning her onto this site would add some life in here. Plain and simple, we need to thin out the sausage ratio.
Yep, same one. While she is into gaming, she generally gives me a dumbfounded look when I start going on about emulation, so we'll see about signing her up here... >_>

I do recall checking out the last version of this a long while ago, back when we were both on the IRC channel...
Now post more, or I won't love you anymore.
(I'm just kidding, I could never stop loving you, olaf )

Well, BlackKnight's tutorial is only for 3.02 OE-A to 3.40 OE-A. The method has probably changed since then (ex: Popstation has been updated multiple times, as has PSX2PSP) so I'd suggest updating, or try getting a different ISO (maybe the disc you were ripping was scratched or somehow damaged).

This could be worth the upgrade, but I think it's too early to tell for sure right now.

I don't know much about downgrading PSP Slims or any restrictions thereof, but I can tell you for sure that you can't make a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick on your own. You will need a PSP that already has a custom firmware on it in order to make the battery + mem stick combo.
EDIT: I've done a bit of reading, and it looks like you'll have to check if you have a TA88v3 mobo (You can check with this tool). If you do have a TA88v3 mobo, you will not be able to downgrade no matter what (Dark_AleX explains why here). For now, at least. There's always hope for the future.
