Official PC gaming certainly doesn't require this kind of hardware. Emulators may demand this kind of hardware though; doesn't the PCSX2 emulator recommend a server CPU like this to increase its framerate on some games to about 60 FPS?

It's funny but after I saw the topic title I thought it was a father who wanted to beat up his children's bully! Yes, he does indeed have a life and it is to stamp out as many violent video games as he can as possible! I can't blame him since it does generate a certain amount of publicity for him. I also suspect Thompson is conspiring with the game companies to promote those games by generating all this publicity around his attempts to get them banned!
