IMO, tribals, barbed wire, kanji, chinese letters and bar codes are becoming too cliché, even those butterfly tatoos little college girls like getting for some reason

it is incredibly easy to find bootleg carts. If it's kof99 or later, and the button to change the game actually changes the game then it's a bootleg, cause on pcb games you can't change the game
