  3. Hey I know there's various xbox arcade emulators around, mostly based off MAME. My question is, what MAME version is each emulator derived from?

  12. I quoted this post --> http://www.1emulation.com/forums/topic/34115-installing-coinops-3-newbie-guide/page__view__findpost__p__353058 Never played CoinOps, the real MAME and MESS do enough for me. If you read the rest of that thread, you'll see references to coinops being 'banished' etc. That is no longer the case, anyone can talk about it once again. Take a look through the other coinops threads and the coinops archive, there is a wealth of info in there.
  13. Hi flacnvinyl & welcome to the forum I've put your question into its own thread. I don't have an xbox so cannot answer your question but i'm sure someone will be along shortly. There's a newbie guide to installing coinops 3, I guess its probably done the same way. According to it, you need to hook your pc to your xbox and set up FTP. Also your xbox needs to be modded. As CoinOps is quite large, you will need to have installed a bigger than normal hard drive. Then just FTP the CoinOps files over from the PC to xbox F drive. The newbie guide stops there, but I suppose you just launch the xbe file and set up things to the way you like.

  15. I suppose 192.168.1.254 is your internet modem / router? The subnet mask looks correct for that IP range, and each device has an IP in the range, so that is good too. Many apps will not like trying to submit a userid/password that is different from the account it is running under (it's a microsoft thing). Try making a NAS account that has the same credentials as those which you've logged into the xbox with.
  16. which means that after 6 years, 3.0 is now a freebie. i can't put the link, but if you type universal bios into Google, it is the first find. Now of course, we await a leak of 3.1 ...
